My husband and I stayed in this condo for the month of Feb. Our son and his family joined us for a week. We had a delightful time being so close to the beach and so many other wonderfully fun things to do close by. But as a heads up to future renters (which would have been helpful to us but there weren't any reviews on this unit), This unit faces West and North so for winter snowbirds who want sunshine, this unit gets very little of that because of the building in front which blocks the sun until late in the day. The patio sits in the breeze way of two buildings so between lack of sun and plenty of breeze we couldn't spend time out on the patio. Because of the west facing patio/slider door there's a roll down blind which was stated in the info packet on the coffee table to be a "privacy blind" . It offered no privacy at night, which was rather frustrating as the patio/slider is at the top of the stairs for the two buildings so anyone coming up the stairs can see right into the unit. Our grandson slept in the living room area and we had to fix up a sheet over the blind because all the outside lights would shine right in on him. The patio screen door was broken/off its roller when we arrived and the owners said it would be repaired but at our departure it still was not repaired. This could be an ideal unit for a small party in the summer time, but think twice if you're looking for a warm sunny unit in the winter months.

Owner's Response: We are happy these folks had a wonderful time. Yes the unit is a west facing end unit that does not get morning sun. When we are there we like to go to the patio overlooking the pool just steps from our patio. It faces east with plenty of morning sun and a nice view of the beautiful grounds. Perfect for coffee and the paper. As for our unit, we will keep the wonderful ocean views. Yes, ocean facing end units can be breezy at times. We thanked the folks for letting us know of the screen door problem. A work order was phoned in that same day. I am sorry for the slow response, it has been replaced.
