Park Rapids Cabin Rental Photos and Description
3BR/2BA Cabin on Long Lake
This completely renovated, year-round lake home sleeps up to 10. A fieldstone fireplace, vaulted ceiling & three season porch combine rustic charm with the comforts of home. The cabin sits on a high bank, & it's 50 steps down to our dock.
Long Lake is one of the area's finest walleye, bass & trout lakes. It's 9 miles of crystal clear, deep, spring fed water, making for great swimming too. It's 6' deep at the end of our dock. Our beach is hard sand, with a gradually sloping lake bottom. There is no dry sand beach, but an 8x12 sun deck for lounging.
Rent our 24' newly renovated Weere's pontoon or sea kayaks for the week or bring your own boat & moor it to our dock.
Fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials, plus a second full-size fridge & a fresh herb garden.
Main floor master bedroom has 1 Queen. Upstairs loft has 2 open bedrooms, with 1 Queen & 2 Doubles, plus a half bath.
Enjoy long views of Long Lake from adirondack chairs on the deck, watch hummingbirds feed while napping in the hammock, swim off the dock in crystal clear water, walk along the sandy, sloping beach, sip wine at sunset on the patio, gather around the campfire with the cabin guitar, sleep like babies under Northern stars.

About Todd & Jennifer Jorgenson
In 1999, Bachelor Todd bought this very rustic cabin. It was close to his family & hometown of Detroit Lakes. With a lot of help from friends, he gutted and rebuilt the entire thing, including adding on all the decks and the three season porch. He even built the dock, (which Jen made him replace in 2012 with something 'more modern.') Todd married Jen in 2008 and in typical lady-wife fashion, she immediately took over making additions of her own, starting with imperatives like kitchen knives that cut & sheets with threadcounts over 7. In 2011, Jen took over the rental portion of the cabin business, but Todd is still is still around to fix stuff.
The couple currently resides in Minneapolis, where Todd is a family physician & Jen is a hematology oncology consultant & part-time grad student at St. Thomas. The couple spends as little time inside as possible when not working & can be found cycling, running, skiing, swimming, hunting, grilling and camping in their 1973 VW Bus.
The Jorgensons hope you love the cabin as much as they do!

What makes this cabin unique
It has everything you need for a family vacation or a romantic get away. Close enough to town to run for groceries, yet remote enough to feel like a true get-away.
