High Cotton Inn located in the Gruene Lake Village Mainstreet District, 1/4 mile east of Gruene Hall, is the perfect place for a peaceful weekend getaway. Our small, 850 square foot suite offers a queen bed, one queen sofa sleeper, kitchen, dining and large bath with over sized shower. Also located in the village is Two Rivers Yoga, The Republic Cigar Shop, The Gruene Flour Cupcakery, Centuries Past Antiques, Alibi Boutique, High Cotton Gallery, River City Bling, The Gruene Grind Coffee Company, Allen Benjamin's Salon & Spa (packages available), Gruene Tini's Martini Bar, Gruene Cricket Pub, Kay's Kottage, The Gruene Thumb, My Traveling Art, Vino en Verde wine bar, Club Group Fit, Artistic Impressions Concrete Art, Lucky Ewe Yarn Shop, The Little Gruene Church, Simply Chic, School of Classical Ballet and the award winning Gruene Door Restaurant and Bar (casual attire with patio and courtyard seating available) all on the same property.

Located on the first and second story we offer a very unique setting with privacy and convenience. Our suite offers the perfect location for a hill country getaway. Walking distance to Gruene Hall, five minutes from Schlitterbahn Water park, and only minutes from the beautiful Texas Hill Country and San Antonio or Austin.

Went for a girls' weekend and had a great time! We were very impressed with the High Cotton Inn. Near to downtown Gruene but very quiet, clean and spacious. Owners were very easy to work with. I will stay there again.

My husband and I stayed at the High Cotton Inn for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We loved the place, it made us feel as if it was our own place. The location is great, the place was very clean and loved the floor plan. Loved the place so much that when it was time to leave I told my husband I did not want to go home, I wanted to stay there. We will definetly stay there agian and refer all of our friends to the High Cotton. We highly recommend the High Cotton Inn.

Great Place to stay

My Wife and i just returned from our weekend in Gruene. What a wonderful place to stay. We parked the car on friday and it never moved until Sunday, just a 10 minute or so walk to Gruene Hall. Our room was shockingly large, clean, and well equipped. Loved the large walk in shower, comfortable king bed. After a long day and great music in town, i really enjoyed sitting on the balcony sipping a nice cold beverage or two. It really made us feel at home. You can bet i will be back.

A Month at the High Cotton Inn

There are many fine places in the New Braunfels area to rent on vrbo, so don't let the High Cotton Inn slip away without notice. The owner's, Debbie and Michael, and their family personally manage this inn and a few other places in Greene Lake Village. We found the inn to be very clean and easy to maintain while we were there for the month of February. We also liked the idea of being able to go out to dinner, drinks and dancing without driving. Google the area, you won't believe how accessible this little village is to surrounding attractions.

Best getaway

My husband and I stayed at the High Cotton Inn for 3 nights between Christmas and New Years and loved the Inn. For 2 nights we were the only ones in the inn. It was spacious, extremely clean and bright and sunny. While my husband was out fishing, I could either go to the coffee shop to sit and read or the wine bar for a glass of wine. We both went to the Martini Bar to watch a football game one night. I loved the location - only 1/4 of a mile from Gruene. We had a patio right off our large suite which posed a problem which is not the owner's problem. It is a shared patio and unfortunately, the 3 young women sitting out there from midnight until 2 am. were not concerned that their shrieking laughter would keep us up so our last night was not quite as nice. I did not let this affect how I felt about this wonderful place at all because you can always run into thoughtless people. Don't hesitate to stay here!
