Photos and Description of the Kiawah Island vacation cottage rental Spacious 3 BR/3½ BA Cottage on Quiet Residential Street

Our cottage has three above average size bedroom suites and each have abundant natural light. Along with a large 'keeping' area (LR/DR) the cottage also features a large screened-in porch and lovely sunroom. The cottage is only a five-minute walk to the beach and the Cougar Point golf course and is located in a complex that has a small private pool which is important because the Resort has closed access to its pools to the general public on Kiawah. Dense foliage surrounding the cottage creates a feeling of privacy. Kiawah Island is unique among the barrier islands, unlike Hilton Head or Myrtle Beach commercial development is virtually non-existent. This island was meticulously planned to be environmentally sound and yet enjoyable to people. A semi-tropical climate offers alligators, sea turtles, bobcats, and some very friendly dolphins.

Free neighborhood pool, A/C, linens, dishwasher, microwave, fully equipped kitchen, full size washer/dryer, TV/VCR/DVD player in Living room, King bed in master bedroom with TV & DVD/VCR player, Queen bed in guest room #2 with TV/VCR and two single beds in guest room #3 with TV/VCR, ceiling fans in all rooms, large screened porch with new furniture, sun room, and convenient paved parking underneath.

Activities: : 10 broad, pristine miles of beach (named one of America's 10 best), 30 miles of paved bike paths, five championship golf courses (including the world famous Ocean Course), two world-class tennis complexes, and Night Heron Park which offers picnic areas, soccer fields, basketball courts, nature center, pool complex, kayak and canoe rentals. In the summer it sponsors Kamp Kiawah for kids, cookouts, ice cream socials, summerfests and nightly entertainment. Ask about my golf and tennis rebate offers. Still want more? Nearby Seabrook Island offers charter fishing, boat rentals and horseback riding. Kiawah is only 19 miles from Charleston with its many historic homes and buildings open to the public. Delightful restaurants, all allowing very casual dress, abound. Whether you take a horse drawn carriage tour or just wander through this majestic city, you will have a truly memorable experience.

Me and my family of 5 have stayed on Kiawah almost every summer for the past 21 years. Typically bouncing from Realtor to Rental and finally private owners. We have stayed in this house for past few years and love it. The decor is relaxed and friendly. It isn't formal and stuffy. The house is large enough that if their is bad wealther You feel comfortable sitting the house and reading a book or playing a board game. We LOVE It Here

A beautiful and and accomodating cottage

My family and I stayed here last July during our vacation to Kiawah. I am impressed with the size, beauty and the accomodations that this fantastic home boasts. We are looking forward to yet another week of vacation in this wonderful cottage on beautiful Kiawah Island this year in July. Many thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Walk for sharing their home.
