You can easily access 5 of the lakes, including the 1,520 acres of Intermediate Lake by way of the canals in a small to medium sized boat. The scenery and wildlife along the canals is breathtaking.

Great spot to relax! We enjoyed the fact that the cottage was well maintained, clean and modern. Though it doesn't have a full direct view of Lake Benway, there's still enough site-line to catch a sunset or see the mist on the lake in the early AM. The scenery on the lake and in the channels is very nice if you have a canoe or boat. The lake itself was not busy at all and usually isn't because the public boat launch is not directly on the lake - it's just a short jaunt across the lake/channel. Fishing was "off" due to changing weather but we still caught Bluegills, Pearch, a 26" Northern Pike, 22" Walleye and 3 lb Small Mouth Bass. Off-shore swimming opportunity was disappointing due to weeds and raft was not out. Owners are friendly, accomodating and accesible, if needed. Neighbors by the cabin are also very friendly. This a great spot for a couples get-away or even small family.

Quiet Get Away

This cottage is very clean and well maintained. The photos are accurate. Cottage has spacious open floor plan of the LR/Kit/DR. The area is very light and airy. Wonderful breezes blow through the cottage. Living Room has views of the lake. Comfortable couches, adequate lighting and a TV. Kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking items you would need to prepare a meal or to BBQ on the spacious deck. Bedrooms have comfortable mattresses and are of adequate size. Bathroom is large. I loved taking my morning coffee down to the lake to enjoy the sounds of the birds and water. I did see some large fish swim by. The location is centrally located to take advantage of activities in Traverse City, Petoskey, and Charlevoix. Lots of activities to enjoy and every type of dining is available. This was a great place to de-compress and relax. Would I rent this space again? YES.

Great summer cabin!

We've rented your summer cabin twice and are looking forward to another visit this year! The kitchen and bathroom are the perfect size and always well-maintained and clean. The living room is plenty large enough to hold several of us on the occasional rainy day. The deck is good-sized and the lake is just steps away. We recommend the house to all!

We love staying in your cabin! It is beautifully maintained and cleaned and perfectly stocked with anything we could need for a summer vacation on the lake. The kitchen/dining area is a delight to cook in and easy to keep clean. The bathroom is a definite plus as far as lake cabins go and we really appreciate its size and amenities. We had fun using the deck and yard last summer for outdoor dining. We look forward to staying there with our family again this summer.

Thanks again and we will see you this summer, if it ever stops snowing...
