This beautiful and open 2100 square feet, one story cottage, features a vaulted ceiling in the expansive great room. This room features a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, Flat Screen TV, and sliding french doors leading out to an open deck. The deck has a gas grill and beautiful wrought aluminum furniture and table. Inside the great room, there is a round table and chairs which we use as our computer/game room area.
The large Master Bedroom suite features a king size bed, flat screen TV, and opens out to a covered screened porch--a perfect place to have morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. The spacious master bath has a walk-in shower and dual sinks. The second bedroom features a queen size bed, and it and the second bath can be closed off with a pocket door to create a junior suite for privacy. The cozy den has another flat screen TV, and the fold-out couch provides very comfortable sleeping for two.
The large kitchen is completely equipped to meet any of your cooking needs. With granite counters, tile floor, and walk-in pantry, the kitchen is a pleasure to work in. The separate dining room is right off the kitchen, and easily seats six. There is a separate laundry room with full-size washer and dryer, along with a laundry sink. The laundry room leads out to the two car garage.
Included with your stay is complimentary access to Kenmure Country Club. The Club House has both formal and informal dining, along with outside dining (weather permitting). Your complimentary access includes the use of the two swimming pools, one inside and one outside, a 3,400 sq. ft. fitness center, tennis courts, and discounted green fees at the Joe Lee designed golf course.
The golf course was voted as one of the top 50 golf courses in the southeast by Golfweek.
The cottage is situated in a very private setting, and is beautifully furnished and decorated in an eclectic style. We have had nothing but positive reviews from our many past guests.
Located just four miles from historic Hendesonville, and 25 minutes from Asheville and the Biltmore property, there are many places to visit and many things to do in this beautiful mountain area.
