The listing description was absolutely accurate, and the property was exactly as the photos depicted it!
Denise was very helpful and always prompt in responding to emails and answering questions. Once we arrived, she checked with us to be sure everything was OK. Although the weather was a bit uncooperative, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return again, perhaps a little later in the season, to allow the weather to warm a bit. Our only complaint was the checkout time....while we understood the need to clean the house as a make ready for the next guest, it seems you don't get the full benefit of that last day, by having to get up early and pack to leave to be out promptly by 10 am. Our usual experience has been a noon checkout as other properties. Otherwise, we would recommend Fairview highly!!

Spring Break Getaway

We just returned from a relaxing week with our teenage boys at Fairview Cottage. Even though the weather was a little cool and rainy, there were plenty of things to do to keep everyone entertained. The house was immaculate and contained anything and everything you would need to feel right at home. A well stocked kitchen, plenty of books, movies, games, pool toys and enough bicycles for everyone to take a nice stroll through this beautiful gated community. There truly is something for everyone. On the days the sun was out we were steps away from beach chairs waiting on us. A candy store and pizza restaurant were a short bike ride away for the kids. Denise, the owner, called to make sure we were settled in and had everything we needed. We have long been fans of Carillon Beach because of it's proximity to the communities on 30-A and short drive to Panama City and Destin to take advantage of the restaurants and night life without the crowds. Now we are fans of Fairview cottage and can not wait for our next getaway!!

This home has everything you will need for a great vacation. Million dollar views of the Gulf (see dolphins from deck), private walk to beach that was never crowded. The owner, Denise has pretty much thought of everything, beach and water toys, bicycles, lots of dishes, pots, pans, silverware, blenders, crock-pot...the list could go on and on. Denise was a real pleasure to work with; always prompt and courteous responses to calls or e-mails. The whole process of renting was painless.
My family and I spent a week at Fairview during Spring Break; the privacy of the gated community, family atmosphere, great pools, resturants and shopping on the property was great.
We checked out the zoo, rented a pontoon and cruised to Shell Island for the day, took a fishing trip, and spent 3 days just lounging on the beach. We asked Denise for seafood recommendation...she told us about Buddy's sea food market...very good food.
Recommend to everyone.....I lnow I've used the term great alot but what else can I say "GREAT VACATION". Will be back.

My family enjoyed our stay at Fairview Cottage. We enjoyed our privacy and the feel of home. It was nice to be able to open the door to view the ocean and listen to the waves. It was relaxing. We enjoyed having the beach at our backdoor and the view from the balcony was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked and it helped to be able to cook meals for the family. The only bad thing was the weather didn't cooperate with us and it was cold at night. We would stay again.

We stayed at Fairview for week at the end of October. We loved cottage , the beach and the area. The beach service had finished but we were able to use the chairs from the well stocked garage. The owner had been to a lot of trouble to stock the house with everything you could need. A real home from home. The pool next to the cottage isn't heated at this time of year but a short bike ride to a lovely heated pool on the complex. (6 bikes provided) . We also can recommend the restaurant on site, the food was excellent.
