OCEANFRONT VILLA, BEAUTIFUL POOL, DIRECT ACCESS TO BEACH

We just returned from a two week stay in Manzanillo and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There are some minor plumbing issues that are going to be addressed but outside of that all was well. I had asked for a water dispenser and a broom and they were in place when we arrived. The beds are new and very comfortable as is the furniture. The view is not good as the palm trees have grown and you can't see much but it is private and we weren't in the room much. The complex itself is lovely with the pool and grounds kept immaculately. The view from the pool out to the ocean is fabulous. If the waves are too big for you here just hop on the bus across the street and go up to the far end of Miramar and you can walk in and float to your heart's content. The location of this complex is the best. The Sarriano grocery store is just minutes walk away and transportation to anywhere is cheap and easy by bus or cab. The weather is predictable and 30 degrees every day so bring your sun screen. There are numerous great restaurants within walking distance and the food was very good and so reasonably priced that we did not cook at all. In closing I would recommend this unit and this complex without hesitation and know that the owner will continue to make improvements for the enjoyment of his guests. We are a couple but shared with another couple for a week and it worked great with the rooms each having their own bathrooms complete with showers. It made the cost of the stay quite reasonable.

The location of the resort is pretty great. Easy walking distance to Soriana mega grocery store and several restaurants. All on standard main bus line too. You do not hear the highway which is out front. Godzilla restaurant a bit north on the same side as the resort is really quite good, and further walking past WalMart to a street restaurant called Caliente has 2 for 1 Al Pastor tacos on Thursday nights as of this writing--pretty good. The resort was clean, clean clean. Talk to the bartender at the pool his name is Yoloa and he likes to talk. The pool is maybe 4 feet deep so great for kids at around 8 or 9 and up. The beach is out front and waves range from small to large depending on what's coming in from the Pacific. The unit was larger than I thought from the pictures. Steps are a bit steep, and they are fine. Air conditioners all worked and we had no problems with the unit whatsoever. The unit was clean and had maid service too for 3 days. The only thing to add may be a water dispenser for the 20liter water containers.

This complex is absolutely beautiful. The pool is spectacular, with small, separate pools for children,all surrounded by well kept gardens. There are plenty of chairs, tables, lounges and shade umbrellas/.palapas.There are even chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The whole area, including a large palapa and beautiful covered lobby, is very clean and well looked after.
There is an excellent 24 hour security service which makes this a very safe place to relax and enjoy your vacation.
Problems are fixed promptly, and all the staff are friendly and pleasant.
The unit (villa) we stayed in (3 people) was in a great location on the second floor, we got the after-noon sun and could watch the sunset from our balcony (which contrary to what it says in the listing is NOT 28 feet long, more like 12 feet!)
The unit is 2 stories, with a kitchen, dining area, living room and and a half bathroom on the entrance level. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, I think I should mention that the stairs are quite steep and may be difficult to manouvre if you are too old or infirm).
The mattresses are comfortable and so is the living room furniture.
The villa would benefit from some T.L.C. (tender loving care) to make it appealing to renters
The owner has said he will be working on some improvements and updates.
Shopping, restaurants, a little market are within walking distance, the local buses are very cheap with a frequent schedule, the bus stop is very close. Taxis are also reasonable.
Altogether a great holiday destination. We had a wonderful time and will definitely go back..
