This unique Delta home sits on a pie shape lot with the larger part of the lot being waterfront 150 ft of waterfrontage. The back deck is 60 feet long overlooking the Delta.

You can barbeque, relax on the deck, play croquet on the lawn then get in your boat and boat for hours on the Delta. There are over 1,100 miles of waterways, wild life and country. It feels so far away exploring one of America's Frontiers right in our own back yard. Yet it is only an hour away from most Bay Area locations. You can swim, fish kayak from the dock or bring your boat and go skiing, fishing or dining at various Marina's on the Delta.

About The Owner

We have been married for twenty five years. We have always dreamed of owning a waterfront vacation home some day. We purchased this lot sixteen years ago and built our dream home four years ago. We love to get away to the Delta when we can. When I was younger I lived on the delta for a few years. My dad would take us boating. The bench on the point was made by my dad. We quite often will take a sit on dad's bench and just take it all in. We hope you will enjoy a sit on the bench.

Why The Owner chose Brentwood

We spent five years looking for waterfront property. We fell in love with this lot. 150ft of waterfrontage. Jersey Island is across the river and no one can build there. It really adds to that country feeling. The view of Mt Diablo and Antioch Bridge off in the distance. Location only 57 miles to home.

What makes this house unique

We enjoy boating, fishing, relaxing on the deck or on the dock. Going for walks on the levee. Watching the beautiful sunsets. Sitting on the deck with coffee and breakfast in the morning. Listening to the birds. Watching a blue heron land on the dock. Visiting with friends and relatives. Being on Delta Time is what we like to do.

Our visit to the Delta

My wife and I have been staying in the delta area for years now to be near our Daughter who lives in Discovery Bay. Luckily the place we had been renting was sold and so we found Bennetts Landing. We stayed 10 days had a wondeful time and plan on returning again next year. Katherine and Dennis are perfect hosts and we really enjoyed the house the neighbors and the water.

Amazing Beautiful Sunsets

Thank you for opening up your lovely home to me and my friends. We enjoyed our BBQ, sitting outside near the water reading books, playing cards while watching the sunset and picking wild berries.
Your house is so clean, has a wonderful big kitchen and is very welcoming ! I would highly recommend your place to my family and friends. Looking forward to our next stay at Bennett Landing.

Very nice accommodations. Plenty of of dishes, glasses etc. Everything you need to cook is in this kitchen!! It was great to have a washer/dryer which was full size. Bathrooms were good sized especially the master. The view is beautiful especially in the late afternoon. When the breezes start, we opened up the house, windows etc and it was great. A/C works... We will def. return.

PERFECT GETAWAY

My husband & I and our 5 children (22,19, 16 & twin 13 yr olds) had such a great time here! Dennis & Katherine greeted us and showed us around their beautiful place. They were so nice and fun to talk with. The house was perfect for us. I appreciated how clean it was. That was so great. Our excursion was able to park in the garage, The kids played games, and we loved watching the Olympics on their screen TV. I enjoyed cooking in their beautiful kitchen! It had all the amenities you need, so many spices and any kitchen gadget you need. The walk in pantry was WONDERFUL to put all of our food in. Yes, staying for 3 nights and a family our size we had A LOT of food. After coffee on the deck with my husband and after breakfast, it was so great to just walk down to our boat. The kids also had so much fun on the paddle boat. For those who haven't been to the Delta, it's the most wonderful place you can go because it's warm during the day, but nice and cool in the morning and evening. This is SUCH a beautiful and peaceful place. Every morning I would sit on the "bench" with my coffee, and think of my dad as well. We will most definitely come here again. I have already recommended this place to many of my friends & family. Thank-you Dennis & Katherine! You are extremely blessed. : )

Loved Our Stay

We had four couples who came to the Delta. One couple stayed in their motor home outside the house. There was enough room for all of us to have fun and cook together during the days and evenings. There are two bedrooms for two couples and then trundles in one of the bedrooms. One couple brought an air mattress rather than stay on the sleeper sofa. Nice, open layout. We all loved staying here and my friends are still saying what a fantastic place this was. Thank you Katherine for all your help and all your useful information. Highly recommend this VRBO!
