Lake Michigan, Beach & Pools in Heart of Harbor Village, Great Marina View

Beautifully appointed two story condo overlooking Harbor Village marina. Two minute walk to spectacular Lake Michigan beach where you can walk for miles or catch the sunset. Right next door is the beautiful indoor pool with spa and fitness room. Deck overlooks marina with view of outdoor pool. Walk to Manistee's famous North Pier Lighthouse or downtown to the Riverwalk that runs along the Manistee River. Golf, casino, Manistee National Forest, hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, fishing, theatres, shopping and more right nearby.

Amenities:: Brookharbor #6 is a studio with a bedroom loft upstairs. With two queen sized beds and a sleeper sofa, it can sleep up to 5 people. The unit has a bath and a half bath, dining area, kitchen, living area with gas fireplace, and a deck overlooking the harbor and pools. There's a DVD and cable TV. The unit is fully stocked with linens, towels (not beach), kitchen equipment, hair dryer, ironing board with iron and just about everything you'll need for a great stay. You'll also find children's playground, grills and picnic tables nearby.

No pets, no smoking.

Activities:: Manistee is a great small town with a lot to do. You can tour the town via a narrated trolley tour or catch an airplane ride at the airport. Golf by day at one of the great golf courses and gamble the night away at the Little River Casino. Enjoy the Manistee National Forest with hikes, canoeing, kayaking, biking or snowmobile. Watch a big lake freighter navigate the narrow Manistee River from the mile+ Riverwalk.

Area:: Other activities within about an hour of Manistee include Michigan Adventure Amusement and Water Park, Mac Wood's Dune Rides, Sleeping Bear dunes, the Cherry Bowl Drive In movies, and Crystal Mountain and Caberfae ski resorts.

We own two places in Harbor Village and rent this one out. We've spent summers there for the past fifteen years and think it's one of the nicest beach places in Michigan.

This is a lovely location but we will not be renting from this owner again. He kept $50 from our security deposit for a tear in the screen door. I told him we had no knowledge or memory of anything happening to the screen; however, it was old, and we may have been the unlucky ones to be there when a hole developed. I suggested we pay $25. He refused and charged us the full $50, even though he provided no proof of said damage, or that we caused it.
Owner's Response: This is not accurate and was posted nearly two years after supposedly staying at our place. We have rarely needed to withhold security deposits in ten years of rentals.
