New lower deck with plenty of adirondack chairs. Perfect for swimming and sunbathing. Lake is ideal for all water sports. Ideally situated in the heart of Manistee County, conveniently located just 10 minutes from Lake Michigan between Frankfort and Manistee. Sleeping Bear National Park and Glen Haven/Glen Arbor is 30 minutes north. Only 45 minutes from Traverse City. Beautiful Arcadia Bluffs golf course and restaurant are just 10 minutes away! Little Rivers Casino is located just a short drive south on US 31.
Large master has a queen bed, private ½ bath, and television with a big window overlooking the crystal clear lake below. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom accommodates three with a bunk bed and a twin. Plenty of drawer and closet space. All bedrooms are on the second floor, which is so nice for families. The first floor has a spacious bathroom with a stall shower. The kitchen has all standard appliances and does include a microwave, coffee maker & grinder, toaster. All dishes, pots and pans, and utensils are included. Best room in the house is the porch.....lots of windows and seating.
All bed linens are provided. Please bring towels and beach towels.
The living area features ample seating, a TV & VCR/DVD, bookshelf stereo with CD player, and wood-burning stove. Additional amenities include gas grill, fire pit, plenty of wood, and rowboat w/oars. The large sun porch serves as a dining area and living area with access to another deck with a picnic table for additional eating space.

Bear Lake is 1700 acres, great for all water sports, including skiing and sailing. The lake is great for swimming as it is shallow with a sandy bottom. Excellent fishing lake for Bass & Walleye. Lake Michigan is a 10 minute drive for swimming and walks on the beach. Traverse City is just 45 minutes away, great for shopping and winery tours. Guests can golf at many nearby courses, including beautiful Arcadia Bluffs. Many great restaurants not far from the cottage. Winter brings snowmobilers, cross country and downhill skiers to nearby Crystal Mountain.
So much to do and see in Northern Michigan....Close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Manistee's Victorian Village, Lake Michigan, Rockin' R Horseback Riding Stable, Interlochen, Little River Casino, 4 major ski resorts, Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course.
