Pull into the driveway of this fresh and updated Bethany gem, and you will be able to shop, dine and swim without ever needing your car! This bright and cheerful house is two blocks to the beach, located at 214 Oceanview Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE 19930. Beach chairs are included. Shower off the sand in the refreshing outside shower! There is a back deck with ample seating and also two picnic tables outside in case you want to have a crab feast! There are two screened front porches, with the upstairs porch being accessed from the master suite (The Dragonly Room), which includes a king sized bed, in-room coffee maker, and bidet in the master bath! Each master suite has reading chairs and TVs.

This home is a Sunday - Sunday rental and we use Long & Foster to manage and finalize all rentals.

This house is ideal for family reunions, with two master suites, one upstairs and one down (with a total of five bedrooms). The second master suite (the Lighthouse Room) has a queen bed and private access to the downstairs full bath. There are two sets of bunk beds in the Surfboard Room. Another bedroom has a queen sized bed and has it's own full bath (The Hawaii Room). Another bedroom has two twin beds (The Fish Room). There is a loft on the second floor which has an oversized chair, a futon, a TV and a desk. Pull our your laptop anywhere in the house and enjoy the WIFI connection.

The house is warm and bright and has lots of windows on all four sides, all having wooden blinds. The decor is modern and tropical. The family room has bright lighting, a flat screen TV with cable TV, two couches, a love seat and a chair. The dining table is very large and can fit all 13 chairs around it. The kitchen is fully equipped, with up-to-date appliances and amenities such as a high speed CuisinArt blender for frozen drinks because you will definitely be feeling 'islandy' while at this unique Caribbean inspired house!

About The Owner

We have been enjoying our beach house in Bethany with our large family for years! Now it is time for us to share it with you!

The Owner purchased this house in 2000
Why The Owner chose Bethany Beach

We originally bought the home as our personal summer residence and because of this it is uniquely decorated with high quality furniture, bedding, and decorations. We began renting it out in 2005 when my husband's job became less remote and we were not able to spend as much time there. We feel our house in Bethany is the perfect spot for families who don't want to haul sandy children, boogie boards, and other beach items in their car. We also love to be able to walk to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A comprehensive guide listing the local restaurants is at the house, in addition to listings of other cool restaurants and places within a short drive. Bethany Beach is known as one of the 'Quiet Resorts.'

What makes this house unique

Within Bethany, there are options for dining no matter what your preference! There are casual and fine restaurants within a few blocks of the house. Or head out on foot to the grocery store on Garfield Parkway (the main street) where you can buy food and cook at home. Or you can walk the boardwalk and enjoy the 'boardwalk food' (such as frozen custard, fried clams strips, pizza, or boardwalk fries!). Or dial up some dinner -- have food delivered right to your door from the local places that deliver including one of them delivering on bicycle! With the close proximity to the beach for sunbathing and swimming, being able to walk back and forth from the house to the sand is very convenient! Shopping in all the wonderful and diverse shops is also within two blocks! Pirate golf is a new favorite in Bethany!
