Description:
This condo was built on the island of Tierra Verde, which has similar geography to the Florida Keys. This fairly narrow island is bounded by the Gulf of Mexico to the west and Tampa Bay to the east. We are easily accessible by driving interstate highways to within six miles of our building. Tampa International Airport is a twenty five minute drive.
What sets this condo apart is the view of Tampa Bay and the privacy you will enjoy from the balcony. The building is located right at the waterfront without any other buildings obstructing the view. You will gaze on miles of open water, framed by palm trees and shoreline mangroves. Sometimes, you will observe dolphins and manatee as they swim just off shore. Our large private balcony is only sixty feet from the water. From the balcony, living room and dining room, you can enjoy the tranquil and peaceful views. The condo itself sleeps six guests. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a full bathroom. The guest bedroom has two twin beds. The living room has a queen size sleep sofa. The second full bathroom is located across the hall from the guest bedroom. There is a dining room and a full kitchen. The kitchen has ample dinnerware and cooking utensils. The entire condo has porcelain tile floors. High speed internet and cable TV are included as well as local and long distance phone. The patio has a table and chairs. This unit is located on the second floor with a private staircase. The second floor allows us to have an advantageous vantage point of the water.
Holiday Island Condo Association has a superbly laid out resort style setting. As you enter the grounds, you will notice ample off street parking. The buildings are positioned with access to a large green area that leads our guests to the pool and hot tub which are located near the water. We also have a large club house, children’s playground, exercise room, tennis courts and laundry facilities. There are rental boat slips when available.
Attractions:
You may bring your own kayak and launch it directly from our shared dock. You may also enjoy the bike path which is accessible from our property. From the bike path, you can ride into Fort DeSoto. Fort DeSoto is a Pinellas County Park, ranked the number one beach in the United States in 2005. The park has miles and miles of beautiful beaches. From the park you can rent bikes or kayaks, purchase refreshments, take a ferry ride to Eggmont Island, picnic, rollerblade, collect shells, fish, camp, launch boats, take kite boarding lessons or just play in the beautiful white sand.

You can choose from two different environments. Tierra Verde has a peaceful quiet setting but just a short drive away you can immerse yourself in the big city environments of St. Pete Beach, St. Petersburg or the many communities of Tampa Bay.
There is so much to do! Choose your favorite activities. A few of the larger area attractions include professional baseball (Tampa Bay Rays), professional football (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), professional hockey (Tampa Bay Lightning), Arena Football League (Tampa Bay Storm), Busch Gardens Theme Park and the Salvador Dali Museum. Disney World is less the ninety miles away, and makes for a great day trip. Check the web for the many Tampa area attractions that are too numerous to list.
