Liestal Studio Rental Photos and Description
Studio, Studio, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)
This is a darling artist's studio part of the year, but turns into a charming one or 2 persons getaway the other times of the year. You will feel like you are in a nest, one floor up from ground level. All furnishings are modern / contemporary and some local artist work can be found on the walls. Bed is a Seally double, with Egyptian sheets and down comforter (blankets in closet too.) Floors are all neutral terra cotta from Italy (you see no dirt.) You will hear nothing at night, even with the windows half open. Train station is a 2 min walk to all the wonderful sights of Switzerland...Basel downtown, Lucerne, Zurich, Zermatt, etc. There are restaurants, shops and entertainment once you walk out the main door. You are in a tiny city, with a big city feel! Many people speak English here and are very friendly. Language school in town as well. Perfect for visitors of Basel Jewelry or Art Fairs. Plenty of opportunities for water activities (Rhein river, Rhein Falls, Rheinfelden Spa, etc). The 2 double half French windows open onto the quiet street which overlooks shops and cafés. You might think you are in Paris? No problem, the café across the street has the best croissants and café au lait around.
Keywords: Perfect for Basel Messe visitors (Jewlery and Art Fairs)! Old world charm with all the modern conveniences within. Studio with plenty of workspace, light, tables, and free area, inspiration left and right. You will love to create, cook, shower, sleep and love here. This is an artist's place to create, write, relax. Big lazy queen bed to curl up in at night.

About The Owner
I am an American from Orange County, Southern California and I have been living in Europe (France and Switzerland) for over 20 years. I am married, live nearby and am an artist / writer. I love my studio, it is such a getaway from the day to day life. I hope you will enjoy it too. I have furnished it with love, all the things I could think of that would make your stay awesome (towels, sheets, kitchen appliances, etc.)

Why The Owner chose Liestal
Liestal is a tiny city but with a big city feel, a mini Paris (where I lived before). It has many artists and creative talents left and right and the scenery and greenery are inspiring. If you are creative and need inspiration, this is your place...
What makes this studio unique
The studio is quiet, yet you walk out of it and have LIFE bustling around you. You choose what you want, either way. Shops are close, you can order in, or you can cook at home in the cozy kitchen, equipped with stove, stove top, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, espresso maker, fridge and so forth. Tiny, but mighty.
