Two beautiful Villas on a secluded, 20-acre Caribbean waterfront estate. Sleeps 10 adults using both homes. Two exquisitely appointed homes on a private, 20-acre waterfront estate with its own, private 1000 foot white sandy beach. Each two air-conditioned two-bedroom, two-bath homes are completely equipped with everything, including DVD and flat screen television sets. Just bring your beach towel and tooth brush! Excellent snorkeling, fishing and shelling. Very quiet with beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea. Villa Seacrest offers spectacular ocean views of the azure Caribbean, while Villa Serenity is in a quiet garden setting. Property located only minutes from Governor's Harbour (GHB) airport and 6 miles from town. All guests are met by our representative on their arrival. Great snorkeling and fishing right off your own beach. We can also arrange for a car at very special rates.

Tranquility Bay is a 20 acre waterfront estate.: Amenities: King size beds, linens, dishes, all modern kitchens with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. All bedrooms are air conditioned, ceiling fans, beach toys, hammocks, DVD player and flat screen TV, stereo, CD player, 2 bicycles. Don't forget to visit Sandpipers - a funky beach front shanty with hammocks, a bar and BBQ. Great for beach parties. Activities: Swimming, shelling, snorkeling, fishing and wonderful beachcombing! Area: Tranquility Bay is only minutes from Governor's Harbour (GHB) airport - but far enough away so that there is no 'airport noise'. We would be happy to share the many testimonials that previous guests have written down in our guest book. Just ask.

The settlement of Governor's Harbour is 6 miles south of Tranquility Bay and offers all the amenities to include grocery shopping, liquor stores, banks, ATMs, hardware store, gift shops and a dive shop. The two lane paved road is in excellent condition but remember, in the Bahamas, we drive on the left!!

Weddings: We can arrange for your wedding to be held on our beach either in a civil ceremony or using a priest or minister. Judging from what other newlyweds have shared with us, Tranquility Bay is the ideal site for a romantic honeymoon.

The Perfect Vacation

The name is perfect. This has to be one of the most tranquil spots on earth. Perfect to reflect and unwind while leaving all the cares of the world behind. As I walked the beach each morning the only set of footprints were mine from the previous day! It was glorious! Don't miss a day trip to Harbor Island and a walk-about in historic Governors Harbor and you must dine at Tippie's at least once during your stay! Read the guest reflections on your first day and check out all the options.

Steve and Cindy are the perfect host if you are lucky enough to be there during their stays. Their love and care for the beautifully maintained property is obvious.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Tranquility Bay is just that - tranquil!

We were fortunate enough to stay for 2 weeks and everything was wonderful! Steve and Cindy were the perfect hosts - leaving us with wine and lobster tails (from the bay outfront!). We loved the screened in porch and spent every moment we were home on the porch. Privacy galore - no one around even on the beach. Shelled each morning and brought home a great selection of seashells as well as urchin shells. Hilton Johnson, the caretaker and car rental person, was so helpful and accommadating. We highly recommend him for car rentals and his knowledge of the area. We went deep sea fishing with the great Paul Petty and had fresh Mahi Mahi for a few nights. Fish Fry on Friday's, Billy & Brenda's BBQ on Friday and Saturday (James Cistern). Lighthouse Beach, Preachers Cave, the list goes on and on and on.... So much to do and see... We highly recommend Tranquility Bay for a couple, two couples or for a small family.
