Tranquility Bay can not be described with words
Words can not describe our stay at Tranquility Bay. My wife and I, along with our two daughters (ages 10, and 17) spent a week in paradise in April 2011. This was our third trip to the island, and was by far the most memorable! We are so greatful that we had the oportunity to share Steve and Cindy's home for the week! Their kindness touched us the moment we walked through the door to Villa Seacrest. They left us lobster, wine, and some food from when they departed a few days earlier, but it was the giving from the heart with the personal gifts they left for the girls that was the most touching and appreciated. The house was beautifully decorated, wonderfully appointed, and the views of the bay from the front patio will forever be etched in our minds. The property is COMPLETELY private, and we had the bay all to ourselves the entire week!! The beach was spectacular, and was perfect for strolling, sunning, and swimming. Sand Pipper II, the tiki hut on the beach, was awesome. We spent alot of time there lounging in the hammoks, cooking out on the beach, and having campfires at night. The snorkeling was good, and we were able to spearfish right off the beach. We showed our girls around the island a bit, but always found ourselves rushing to get back to Tranquility Bay!
It was with heavy hearts that we packed our bags, desperately trying to figure out a way to rearrange our travel arrangements to give us just a few more precious days at Tranquility Bay! The only downside is that we were only there for a week. We will be back, but it will NEVER be for less than two weeks!!
Thank you Steve and Cindy! I hope you truly understand what you have done for us by sharing your home with us, and what a blessing it has been! You have become our friends, and we will meet one day!
