This two bedroom Windswept villa with vaulted ceilings is located in the East beach and is a short skip to the beach-down the elevator, cross the boardwalk and toes are in the sand. Night Heron Park, The Sanctuary Hotel with restaurants and spa are within walking distance. The villa is located on an easterly corner. You enjoy a 6-mile view down the beach as well as a direct ocean view. The sun and moon rising are breathe taking from the villa. You will plan your day around these celestial events .Pelicans are your neighbors as they fly by. Enjoy the ocean view as you lie in the master bed. You are able to enjoy the beach without ever leaving your villa!

Windows, near the vaulted ceiling cast lovely colors over the villa as the sun moves across the beach. The villa is light, airy and has a crisp feeling. It is pristine clean. Many honeymooners have shared this villa, and they return to celebrate anniversaries. It offers one of the best views on the island. Amenities:There is a king size bed in the Master bedroom, twin beds in the guest bedroom. The villa has two full baths. The master bedroom has a large shower. There is a lovely furnished deck which allows you privacy to enjoy the ocean view. The living room has a lovely entertainment center equipped with cable TVDVD, CD/ tape player. Cable TV in both bedrooms. The modern kitchen is equipped to meet your culinary needs. Villa is completely renovated Jan 2008.

The kitchen is fully appointed with microwave, automatic coffee maker, dishwasher etc. The villa is tastefully and comfortably appointed and is equipped with a washer/dryer. All linens and towels are provided. Two beach chairs are provided. This villa is a non-smoking villa and no pets are allowed for the comfort of all. This villa has unparalleled ambiance .The location is a spoiler, and you will not want to ever leave.

Golf: Kiawah Island has 5 golf courses- home of the senior PGA 2007.

Romantic Getaway

My husband & I feel so fortunate to have rented this wonderful condo the week of 5/23-30, 2009. We were celebrating our 28th anniversary, and wanted a romantic getaway, and Kiawah was the place!!! The condo was immaculate, warm, and welcoming. The views were unbelievable, and it was perfect weather every day we were there. The location of Windswept #5143 was ideal. The building was newly renovated, & the condo was on the 6th floor, with vaulted ceilings and a deck with beautiful views of the beach. The pelicans flew by all day, and were so close you could almost reach out and touch them. We saw dolphins both in the ocean and in the Kiawah river. It's a nature lover's dream, and a photographer's as well. We saw a twelve foot alligator in one of the ponds on our way to The Ocean Course. The course has a Bar & Grill, as well as a dining room. We opted for the grill and sat outside and watched the golfers and had the beautiful ocean view and a wonderful breeze...very enjoyable. Fresh Fields and Newton's Market were great, and our trip into Charleston for dinner was also fun....delicious seafood places, and a lot of history there. I must say, however, that just hanging out in the condo, taking walks on the beach, and just relaxing was the best part of the vacation. The condo was so nice, and the master bedroom king bed was the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in on vacation....no waking up with backaches!!! It was a very lovely condo in every way, and the owners could not have been nicer. We will definitely return!!!! On a scale from 1-10, it rates a 10+++ We highly recommend this condo!!! What a lovely week we recently enjoyed at Kiawah! The weather cooperated, and we could hear the sound of the waves throughout the villa. Very relaxing! A Bit of Heaven

This villa in the Windswept is fantastic! The owners thought of everything to make our visit to their villa a lasting memory. The view of the ocean from the dining area, living room are fantastic! The bedroom is also ocean front and the view with the moon on the Atlantic Ocean is a lasting memory for us. This villa is spacious and clean with lots of extras. The kitchen has more than what you need to use. The porch has another great view of the ocean and Sancutary Hotel. We loved eating on the porch! The decor of the villa is very comfortable and you feel right at home. The catherdral ceiling make this villa special. The pictures on the website are true to colors of the villa. Easy access to the villa by elevator just a few steps to the door. Kiawah Island is a great place to visit and spend time exploring. Beautiful golf courses, and Freshfiels Village is a fun, convenient place to shop. The island and the owners of this villa made our visit a happy, restful place for 9 days. We definitely would recommend this villa to anyone who wants to experience a bit of heaven in South Carolina. Thank you for sharing with us. We definitely plan to return to your villa in the Windswept. We look at our pictures and are thankful for our vacation and your thoughtfulness for sharing your villa with us.

Wonderful week in Kiawah

We recently vacationed in this beautiful penthouse on Kiawah Island. We would highly recommend this rental. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. We loved the ocean views from the balcony, living room and the master bedroom.
We spend 2 days in Charleston and enjoyed a tour, Ft. Sumpter, dinner at Hymans, the Charleston Museum. We would highly recommend seeing the movie at the visitor center before you start your tour of this beautiful city.
There were only 2 small things that we would change...have the owner send the pass (to get onto the island) in advance. I'm not sure if this is allowed but we waited 30 minutes in line, and after driving for many hours would have appreciated just settling in and relaxing.
There is a line at the gatehouse for those who have passes and had we had this in advance we could've zipped right in. The other small issue was that once you arrive there are no luggage carts. Many resort rentals (in large buildings) provide carts so that you can transport all of your luggage etc. up in one trip.
Other than these extremely small issues, we thought this was a wonderful vacation spot and you couldn't find a more beautiful vacation rental. We'd like to thank the "G's" for sharing their little slice of heaven.

You mentioned in your review waiting for a lengthly time period to receive your guest pass to enter the island. The preprinted passes at the point are reserved for the larger rental companies on the island, however we have personally made several inquires concerning getting preprinted passes for our guest during weeks that have a higher than usual occupancy .Hopefully this will ease the conjestion at prime guest times in the future.Howerver , it is a comfort for us as owners to know our security gate is checking folks who are entiering our island so that Kiawah does not have easy access for non-guest.
So sorry that our attempts to talk to you while you were staying with us were unsucessful. We attempted to reach you on 2 occasions- leaving messages on 2 voice mails- to be sure there were no issuess with our villa that might pose a problem for your vacation.Realizing that folks on vacation do not always check their messages we leave for them, we could have pointed out the luggage cart in the master bedroom closet to you and perhaps answered any other questions you might have had during your visit.
We attempt to make each vacation special for our guest and hope we will have the opportunity to share our "slice of heaven" with you in the future.

Wonderful Views Wonderful Accomodations

We enjoyed a very relaxing week in this beautifully decorated and well appointed condo. The views must be some of the very best on the island. Kiawah has become an annual vacation that my husband and I look forward to. We have stayed in many different rentals including condos and private homes. This rental unit is now at the top of our list based on interior comfort, beauty, and cleanliness. We enjoyed the fantastic views from nearly every window, not to metion the covered balcony - a perfect spot for watching waves, birds, or sunrises. Not only would we recommend this rental to friends, but we would encourage friends to join us next time.
