Activities: A warm water ocean beach is 100-150 yards away, and a number of restaurants, both upscale and family style, are also within walking distance. Eight other Dennis beaches are within five miles. Seven golf courses, many of them public, are within the same radius. Shopping, theaters, museums, and antique shops surround the area. Bike trails, fishing, and windsurfing are also close by. Whale watching boats and ferries to the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket are in neighboring towns.

Amenities: Phone, cable, TV/VCR/DVD, ceiling fans, heat, full bath, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, wall to wall carpeting and ceramic tile throughout. Pool, patio, grills, and outside shower. Large shed for bikes, etc. at one, and two car parking at both. The outdoor pool is a hundred yards away, with a designated shallow end for little ones.

Great Get Away!!!!

We truly enjoyed out time spent at the Cottage. My husband continues to say that if there was a trailer hitch on the car he would have towed it home!!!! Everything was clean and well stocked. Located close to everything. Looking forward to a return trip in the Spring of 2009!!!

It Feels Like Home

My husband and I have been staying at Dolphin Cay for the past 6 years and from the moment we walk through the door, we feel like we've come home. The adorable cottage itself is immaculate and well stocked with everything you need from kitchen utensils to outdoor tables, beach chairs, umbrella, games, books, dvd player and gas grill. It's wonderful to be able to take that first cup of fresh-brewed coffee down to the South Street Beach just a short walk from the cottage and then return to sit outside at the outdoor table and take in the ocean air and, hopefully, warm sunshine. We particularly enjoy the Dennisport area because there are so many wonderful places to eat, fish, swim, walk, bicycle, kayak, shop, sightsee or simply relax. The owners, Suzanne and Alan, make you feel more like their house guests, rather than renters. The past four years, we have rented both cottages because our son and his wife now join us each year and have their own place to stay. If you have friends who come to visit, there is a motel right across the street from both cottages that makes it affordable and convenient for your guests to spend a couple of days. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. We have been coming to the Cape for many years, but Dolphin Cay is the first place that we've returned to again and again and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The Perfect Vacation

This was the 6th year we have visited Dolphin Cay cottages...and it will not be our last. If you are looking for a great cottage to spend a week relaxing and having fun, this is your place! It is perfect for a couple looking to get away. Dolphin Cay cottages are very clean and well kept. They offer a grill and patio set for your dining pleasure, as well as a gas stove. The sleeping arrangements are very comfortable and for guests there is a futon in the living room. There is an outdoor shower for use after trips to the beach and a clothes line on the side of the house for your beach towels. The owners of the cottages, Suzanne and Alan are very accomodating and a pleasure to rent from. While you're there you'll have to check out one of our favorite restaurants, Clancy's Fish and Chip which is located right down the street. For dessert, stop by Sundae School ice cream shop that is walking distance from the cottage. There are beautiful beaches along the Cape Cod National Sea Shore where you can enjoy miles of sandy beaches and clear, wavy water. There is also more shopping around than you'll know what to do with. All your needs and wants to make your vacation complete are here at your fingertips. We recommend this cottage hands down. ENJOY your time there!
