Balboa Peninsula House Rental Photos and Description
House, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8-10)
This is a very large 4-bedroom, 2 bath home. Both bathrooms are located in the hallway, which make it a great set-up for two families to share the unit (or even one large family) - no going through a bedroom to get to the bathroom! The kitchen is large and has been remodeled. It is larger than the average kitchen compared to most units in Newport Beach. There is a table for six people and also bar seating for four more. The living room has a couch, loveseat and a chair with a 40' TV. On the balcony which has ocean/beach views, there are two additional tables, chairs and a barbeque. There is a shared (with lower unit) non-coinop washer/dryer unit located downstairs in a large laundry room, which has room to store bikes, surf boards, etc. You have one parking space in the garage, which is located off the alley behind the house. The unit has not been rented as a weekly rental until 2010 and is in very good shape. The downstairs is a two bedroom /one bath unit is also available for rent if you need more space.

About The Owner
We are a beach-loving family that happens to live in the Palm Springs area. We rented in Newport for years and were able to purchase this home in 2003. We stay at the beach when we can every summer. Otherwise, we rent out the other weeks. Our kids love surfing, boogie boarding and going to Angels games while we're there. We hope you love the beach as much as we do and enjoy our home!

Why The Owner chose Balboa Peninsula
We have made the Newport Beach area our #1 vacation destination. If we're not using the unit, then we can rent it out to help cover our expenses. We feel it's the perfect family vacation. Parents can relax, while the kids (no matter what age) can run the beach safely all day.
What makes this house unique
This is one of the few places in Southern California where once you park your car, you don't need it to get anywhere until you leave! You can walk to the grocery store and restaurants (fast-food - gourmet). Also, Newport Fashion Island and the South Coast Plaza are only a few minutes away by car. There are so many things to do within a few blocks from the house (kayaking, sail boating, basketball, tennis, bicycle & running paths, fishing, etc). You can ride on bike paths all the way to Huntington Beach or the path along the Santa River into Orange County. Or you can just sit on the beach and do nothing all day! The surf conditions and the sand are safe for small children and is one of the best boogie board beaches around.
