This house is located at 43 Glendale Road is located in New Eastward Look (South) - your gateway to four major state beaches plus Galilee, Block Island, Newport, Wakefield, Wickford, etc.

6 Bedroom – 3 Bath raised ranch-style with large kitchen, dining and living room upstairs with glass slider to large deck with a partial view of the Atlantic Ocean and allows for outdoor entertaining. Dine on teak table with seating for 12. Weber Gas BBQ on deck.

This large home is a 10 minute walk to Scarborough Beach on a very quiet 11,500 sq.ft. Lot with lots of room for all types of family activities. A small path 400 ft up the street connects to Angel Road that leads you straight to the beach.

The area offers you a great playground for the young ones, as well as tennis and basketball for all. There are so many things to do here in Rhode Island, and not enough room to mention them all.

Had a great time! The house was just what we needed. This is the second time we have rented a house from Mary Jo. She has been great and responded quickly to questions and ajustments we had to make to our schedule. Great neighborhood. We spoke to other renters in the neighborhood and found out they had been coming there for the past several years. Love the outside shower. The kids seem to get a kick out of it. The only thing we had to get use to was entering downstairs through one of the bedrooms, but this is not a show stopper. We have spent many years in the RI area and enjoy it very much. The natural beauty of the ocean and surrounding area is fantastic.

7 Palm Beach Ave.

The house at 7 Palm Beach Ave. was a perfect setting for our family vacation. My husband and I slept in one of the bedrooms downstairs. We used the other downstairs room for my brother who stayed one overnight. The 4 bedrooms upstairs were taken by my sons and their wives, and each of my 2 granddaughters had her own room.
The house was well furnished with household supplies. The ceiling fans were a godsend since the house is not air conditioned. The extra stand-up fans helped to keep us cool also. Closets were supplied with lots of hangars and plenty of space for clothing. The living room was large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. Brochures left by the owner were very helpful. We did enjoy Spain Restaurant, Crazy Burger, and Mews nearby. On a day trip to Newport, we had lunch at Perro Salado, an excellent Spanish fusion style restaurant.
One feature everyone loved was the chalkboard wall in the dining area. It was a great place to put comments and draw pictures about our vacation. My artist son drew a picture of the huge fish caught by his wife on an afternoon fishing boat excursion.
I would definitely recommend this house on Palm Beach Ave. It was clean, spacious, and as advertised.

This house was amazing. Plenty of room for our family Bright Beautiful!!! Extremely close to the beach just a perfect vacation house!!! Very close to the Block Island Ferry and Newport Rhode Island!!! The description of the house online and the pictures are spot on. Our family have discussed making this a family tradition. Family Reunion

My family was extremely pleased with the condition of the home and the layout of the house. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for both indoor cooking (rainy day !) and outside BBQ on the sunny ones. The sun room would not have been larger. The layout of the house allowed for much socialization but also private space for naps and teenage time. Even having the 3 TV made everyone perfectly content. The lower level bedroom was set up ideally for the older couple, almost handicapped accessible if needed. We will DEFINITELY rent this home again. The owner is very accommodating.
