This six bedroom charmer can easily sleep 12.

Five full and one half baths

This historical home has six bedrooms and a widows walk which overlooks town and the harbor for sunset cocktails. There are four full baths and two half baths as the basement is finished with twin beds and is replete with a high end sofa with cable TV (perfect for the younger set). There is also an outdoor shower......a necessity to minimize sand trackage indoors. The yard is fully fenced in and extends back to the Oldest House. Almost a full acre of lawn on which to barbecue, play Frisbee, croquet, badminton or whatever else you like. A large brick patio with outdoor table seating for up to 8 and a screened porch with couches, tables and chairs seat up to 10 people make this spacious back yard perfect for large family gatherings.

This is the perfect vacation get away home that offers everything you could ever need in an ideal location. Far enough from town to be quiet and spacious, but close enough to walk to restaurants and shops in only 7 minutes. Walk or bike to the beaches in 5-10 minutes or snuggle up with a book or watch a movie in this comfortable home.

This charming historic home built in the 1790's and completely restored in 2000 has been in one family for 5 generations. The home is comfortably furnished with antiques and contemporary conveniences. Perfect for a romantic getaway for 2 or a family reunion. A pleasant walk to town where there are great restaurants and shopping. The island is perfect for biking, boating and beaching plus 2 public golf courses. Charming and Beautiful

The pictures do not do this house justice because it is far more beautiful in person.

I rented this house for my family as a vacation/celebration and I don't think I could have made a better pick. It is absolutely beautiful and the 12 of us fit comfortably.

The owners are very easy to work with and are very prompt with sending the information and keys when the time comes. I can only recommend that you extend the same courtesy to them. If something does go wrong, they and the caretaker take care of the problem immediately. We ran out of propane for hot water and it was fixed within an hour. No hassles, no repeat calls. We called once and it was addressed immediately.

All of the bedrooms had A/C units so even though the humidity was pretty high, we were comfortable sleeping at night.

The screened in porch is the best part! I think we all spent most of our waking hours at the house there.

Overall, we really had a great time and my only complaint would be that it went by way too fast. Looking forward to hopefully returning next year!
