Nye Beach area home within very easy walking distance to beach and the Nye Beach shopping/restaurant district. This home is our vacation home and not just a rental thus you will find it very well appointed, clean and well maintained. We visit the home ourselves once every 4 to 6 weeks!
The home is located in the beachfront portion of a very quiet neighborhood with 180 degrees of unobstructed views. The home is considered by Realtors to be more of an 'ocean front' home as opposed to just an 'ocean view' home due to its proximity to and quality views of the ocean and beaches. Many so called 'ocean view' homes are located too far East in their neighborhoods to truly see, hear or smell the individual ocean waves or are several miles North or South of the famous Nye Beach district where walking to shopping and quality restaurants are impractical. In this home you can literally see and hear the individual waves breaking and smell the salty fresh ocean air. Regardless of the weather the spectacular views and the calming sounds of the breaking surf will keep you mesmerized and relaxed.

The beach is located just 120 yards due West of the house. To access the beach you will walk about 150 yards South on a quiet road to a legal beach access and then 75 yards down a sandy path (elderly and weak-kneed use caution. Kids love it though) to two of the best beaches Oregon has to offer. Drive-up beach access is located at the Nye Beach shopping district.
Nye Beach shopping and restaurant district is just a 12 minute walk by way of the beach or street/sidewalks. We recommend walking along the beach.
Extremely quiet road leading to house and to the beach helps ensure you and kids are safe from traffic and noise.
Master bedroom and family room opens to a spectacular 8 x 30 ocean and beach view deck. On Deck is a stainless steel grill for an amazing grilling experience.
In the master bedroom is a new Serta Perfect Sleeper cushion top mattress. In the two other bedrooms are new queen size mattresses.
Newport Uniform fire code requires not more than 6 occupants at any one time for this size of home. Next door neighbor is a fire official and monitors compliance tightly. Strict compliance with this code is required. Violations have resulted in the immediate loss of rental for all occupants.
June 1st to Sept 30th a 5 night minimum is required.
Christmas, Thanksgiving and Springbreak a 4 day minimum is required.
October 1st to May 31st a 3 night minimum is required.

Cancellation policy:
Cancellations made 60 calendar days or more prior to original date and time (4pm) of arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 60 days of original date and time (4pm) of arrival will receive no refund unless home is subsequently re-rented. Amount of refund after a qualifying cancellation will be based on the number of days the home is re-rented. Notices of cancellations are to be made by email only in order to document the date and time of cancellation. No refunds due to acts of God, nature, weather or weather-related situations, man-made disaster, shortening of stay, or any event beyond owner’s control.
