Beautiful Fernandez Bay is at your feet when you stay at 'Hibiscus House'. Our tranquil beachfront home is a terrific location to vacation with family and friends. Listen to the rippling waves, feel the soft sand and see the ocean bottom in the world’s clearest water.
Our home features a great view, living room, dining room, kitchen, private access master bedroom suite, second bedroom (two twin beds), and loft with three twin beds. Furnished as our home, the house is stocked with linens and towels and a complete kitchen.
Three ocean kayaks have been added to the 'toy chest'. Use of our vehicle is included for touring the island and shopping.
A tour to Mt. Alvernia, the highest elevation in the Bahamas, is a must. Visit the DeVeaux plantation house, Indian caves, local craft shops and restaurants. Remember - drive on the left. Special fishing and/or diving arrangements are available.

Cat Island boasts the highest (108') elevation in the Bahamas. This lofty spot is the location of 'The Hermitage', built in miniature by Father Jerome. Views of the Atlantic Ocean and Exuma Sound and a glimpse into history are your reward for a trip to the summit.
For the serious or recreational fisherman or diver, Cat Island can provide casual enjoyment or challenging adventure. Fishing opportunities include bonefish, blue water deep sea fishing or simple handline fishing on the reefs and banks.
World class scuba diving is available.
