Welcome to Moat Brook Cottage on beautiful scenic byway West Side Rd. Old fashioned values: clean, neat, and well kept with reasonable rates. The West Side road is a great starting point to all your destinations. We like to stress that the beauty of this region is why people came here to begin with. We're blessed to live in such a beautiful region. We live here and go on small trips in the New England area. Always when we return home we say 'This is the prettiest place we've been'. Our hope for you is that you'll find the same satisfaction with your stay here. Whether you want to see and explore the great natural beauties here, spend some time relaxing and shopping, or using some of our great tourist attractions; I think our quaint little cottage will fit your needs.

Is been completely refurbished, has an open concept living/dining/kitchen area. The living room seats 8 comfortably. 50' television for family viewing, a dining room that seats 6, large master bedroom with a king bed plus a twin bed, also with Sattelite TV and Time Warner internet.We have just added a pellet stove in the Living Room. It has added a coziness to the cottage. It has a full kitchen with everything you will need. The second bedroom has a single twin bed in it. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa. There is a pack and play and a high chair also at the cottage for your use. A farmer porch seats 4 with a picnic table and a small bbq grill in an absolutely cute front yard. We look foreword to talking to you and helping you have a great vacation.

Our list of must sees are mostly outdoor related. Dianas Bath is a perfect jaunt for families with young children. Echo Lake State Park is a beautiful spot to swim and Picnic for families, and don't forget to spot the climbers on White Horse Ledge!Jackson Falls is a beautiful spot to linger, and if you are brave to swim under the bridge in its cool waters. Sabbathia Falls on the Kanc is one of our favorite stops as the climb is perfect for young children and it has a quiet serene ending. The Kancamagus Highway has many great spots for short hikes to its many features,or to stop and view. Pinkham-Crawford-and Evans Notches have many short or long hikes with many memorable views and stops. And there are many others that are too long to list here. But these are our favorites.

The walkway, stairs and decking were cleared completely of snow and ice. Wonderful location, nice furnishings. Plus a charming owner.

We stayed at Moat Brook cottage in September 2012. It was a great location for us because we go to New Hampshire for the hiking. The cottage was more than large enough for a couple. It was very clean and well stocked with the needed household items. West Side Road is fairly busy so you hear traffic noise but if you plan to be out most of the day, it shouldn't be a problem. We would recommend the property and would stay there again.

We loved our stay at Moat Brook! The cottage was spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The TV is enormous! It was such a great plus to find condiments in the fridge and spices in the cupboards. It is well located for access to Echo Lake and Cathedral Ledge and very near the local outlets. It was peaceful and a great environment to get work done unless you're bothered by the noise of scarce traffic.

This is a perfect small cottage for a family with a baby or small children. It had everything you need: high chair, pack and play, washer & dryer and more. It had a nice yard and was conveniently located. A lot of care and thought went into stocking the cottage with everything that is need for an enjoyable stay. I would recommend this this cottage.

better than expected!

we spent thanksgiving weekend at the cottage and couldn't have picked a better place to stay! everything was clean and rooms were spacious. you felt right at home in this cottage. and the electric fire place was a nice touch! we loved our cozy nights in with the "flames" roaring. not only was the place great, but you are so close town and the kanc! and the price couldn't be beat! we will definitely rent again.
