Going Back Someday, Come What May!

Not so long ago - and all too long ago - we enjoyed too brief a stay at Casa Ventanas. We enthusiastically recommend booking with Jay to all who would plan excellence in a vacation rental experience on the Southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. As evinced by the rich missives in review seen here, many have enjoyed thoroughly their sojourn at Casa Ventanas, in Ojochal, and environs near and far. In fact, the reviews themselves, more than descriptors of fine memories and experiences at the lovely home and grounds, are veritable micro-guides to a plethora of rich vacation opportunities there. Add to these the carefully thought out guidance, counsel and suggestions you'll receive from Jay on any and all matters, and you are good to go! Heed his counsel, too, for there is reason in all!
Restaurants. All of the surprisingly outstanding best in Ojochal have been reported on in many reviews. I've no personal favorite, for each is a different experience, as are creme brulee and chocolate mousse. Sample all about which you have read praise, as they are excellent within their own rich, varied formats! We did revisit The Citris and Mamma e Pappa. Ylang Ylang serves only dinner, and that with a gorgeous venue!
Costa Ricans. You will doubtlessly find these friendly "Ticos" to be as pleasant, gracious and hospitable as any folks found virtually anywhere. Exception: When behind the wheel of an automobile, especially in San Jose, its airport and environs, you'll experience a different creature. Watch out! In fact, when we return, we intend to fly into Liberia (LIR), avoiding the San Jose environs and its airport (SJO) altogether.
More on Ticos. Greeted graciously and most pleasantly everywhere, we were especially impressed with the people associated with Nauyaca Waterfalls experience. All were superlatively professional, the Tico meals were wonderful, and a woman we took to be Don Lulos's wife could not have been more charmingly personable. In short, prepare to be your most gracious, relaxed self; you're going to encounter memorable grace.
Finally, Jay was exceptionally accommodating, accepting my last minute plans and extending all counsel any would want in order best and quickly to prepare for a wonderful experience. As have many of you, I've enjoyed VBRO in the Caribbean on a few islands and in Europe in a few countries. Never have I been prepared nearly as well as by Jay. That was our first trip to Costa Rica: We'll be back; stay longer!
