Awesome Apartment!
We had a wonderful stay at this well run apartment. All we needed was provided, including dishwasher and laundry soap, sponges, coffee pods, towels, hair dryer, toaster, a dishwasher, and flat screen TVs in the living room and 2 bedrooms. All appliances were clean and functional, not broken or full of someone else's crumbs and dirt.
The apartment was very clean and would easily sleep 5 people. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were very nice.
The location is really good. It was right across the street from where the bus drops you off from the airport and had very easy access to the public trams. It was within walking distance of many of the things we wanted to see, but was far enough out that it was SUPER quiet at night. The view from the double doors was right out onto the canal.
The only thing to be aware of is the steep narrow staircase to get to the 3rd floor. This is not unusual in Amsterdam and was not a problem for us, but could be for someone with a disability. There is no elevator (also not unusual). This is stated in the information about the apartment, and we were expecting it. Just want to give a heads up for those who might struggle with this.
The owner, Barbara, and her husband were friendly and helpful, provided maps and advice, was there to meet us and available for assistance. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again no question!
