RAINBOWS END BEACH FRONT HOME!! LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

What a wonderful home with great views, comfy beds, all you need for a relaxing vacation right on the beach! We have rented homes for a number of years and this house and property is now at the top of my list of vacation rentals. The house was more than immaculate and anything and everything you could need or want was available. We had fun fishing in front of the house and just relaxing on the wonderful screened in porch to watch the waves, dolphins, and boats go by. The owners are great to work with and are available with a quick phone call should you need anything. We enjoyed staying at the house as well as taking a few rides in the golf cart to visit the rest of this beautiful island. Would love to visit Rainbow's End again and stay for awhile......thanks for sharing this lovely home with us!

It's difficult to improve upon what has already been said in previous reviews about this wonderful vacation home. They are all absolutely true. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all and just relax, this is it. Take your watch off and leave your troubles behind. There is nothing to distract you from the beauty of this place - except maybe those wild dolphins swimming by every day,or the sound of the waves lapping the shore just steps away from your door; or that extraordinary sea-shell that's just washed up on "your" beach. Mary Beth and Glenn have equipped the house with everything that you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable. Rainbows End beach house is very comfortable, tastefully decorated, impeccably clean and well maintained inside and out. So.. if you organize your meals and do all of your grocery shopping before you reach North Captiva Island,(bring lots of water) the only thing that you will have to worry about is what flavor of ice-cream cone you're going to buy at Barnacle Phil's for the day!

P.S. We actually saw a rainbow over the Gulf while we were there....magic!

Rainbow's End was the perfect retreat for our anniversary. Everything about the property blew away our expectations. The pictures really don't do it justice. When you walk up the stairs to the deck for the first time, the view of the Gulf is simply breathtaking. The beach is literally steps away. The owner kind of laughed when I stopped. It seems everybody has the same reaction.

Once you snap out of it, you walk inside to find an immaculate little hideaway. From the plush 5-star hotel linens and platform beds to the custom tile work the decor is elegantly beach-themed with subtle little touches throughout. The kitchen is well-appointed and has everything you need. The wi-fi and satellite tv work perfectly--not that you'll spend a lot of time using them!

The beaches here are clean, uncrowded and littered with shells. We walked around as far as you could exploring and collecting our shells. The water was a little choppy so we didn't spend much time in it. The deck is screened in, so we had lunch out there with the waves crashing. At night we settled in and cooked a romantic dinner on the charcoal grill and enjoyed it inside with with the sounds of the Gulf filling the house.

I can't say enough about the owner's. They really go the extra mile to make sure you know everything you need to know. The best advice I can give is to make sure you carefully plan your menus and bring all the groceries you need. It's not easy to run back to shore to get something you forgot!
