For golfers, Kierland and TPC Scottsdale are both five minutes away. Other high-end courses like Troon North, Grayhawk, Legends, Boulders and WeKoPa are about twenty minutes by car. If your golf skills require an easier track to play, Orange Tree and McCormick Ranch are both within 10 minutes.

For the ladies if you are not going golfing, this location is very convenient for shopping as it is very close to both Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarters, both high-end locales. Promenade Mall and Paradise Valley mall are also about five minutes away although in opposite directions. Old Scottsdale is a 15 minute drive south and has enough variety to keep you entertained all day as well as some excellent dining options at night.

There is terrific cycling in the neighbourhood (very flat and smooth streets) and the local mountains provide great terrain for mountain biking and hiking and a park at the end of the street is convenient for kids.
