Charming studio in central Paris, close to the fountain St Michel in the heart of the Latin Quarter, completely renovated, located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. This studio is located on the first floor of a Parisian building is elegantly decorated. It is 24 m2 with a capacity for 3 people. You'll find a double bed, a chair - bed, bathroom with shower, a kitchen (fridge and hob, dishwasher, washing machine). The floors are parquet. Linens and towels are provided, baby cot is provided.
Planned a trip to Paris in mid-September, it all started with the search for an apartment. I would like to leave feedback about it exactly.
Found great variation in the Latin Quarter, a studio apartment is very bright and cozy. Located near Notre Dame de Paris, in the heart of Paris. From the window of the apartment offers a wonderful view of the small streets and restaurants, often held performances of various local celebrities and the window came the chants of Paris, which further immerses us in the romantic atmosphere of Paris. Near a lot of trade stands where you can buy gifts for the whole family.
The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay: internet, all appliances, TV, hair dryer, kettle, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, washing machine ... and more.
Very easy to reach from the airport Charles de Gaulle (CDG)., A straight branch. 4 near the subway station, two bus stops from which you can transfer to the tour bus.
If you want to find a beautiful, bright, not very expensive apartment in the center to stay with a guy or girl friends, definitely Book, will be pleased!!
Thank you! Come again!!
This apartment has everything you need for long or short stay.
Antoine is fantastic and so helpful, polite and understanding.
Merci beacoup Antoine !! :)
The apartment is so neatly presented.Things like the iron and hairdryer and ironing board. ( not that I used it it's a holiday) are all very cleverly hidden in the drawers and cupboards. Even the book instructions for the washing machine is there, just in case you have never used a front loader. Like me.
Plenty of extra blankets in the cupboard if you need to be more snug, but when I was there the temperature outside was around 3°C-7°C ( sometimes raining) and the heaters/radiators were completely sufficient. I didn't use any extra blankets and I was warm all night.
Every appliance you could need in the Kitchen. Plus heap of pots and cooking utensils. Dish washer and fridge all in a very neat modern integrated kitchen. So easy to use and keep clean.
Any food you can think to eat is in walking distance. In the same street! You could find yourself not even needing to leave Rue St Séverin itself you will still have a lot of choice. The fast food/ kebab shops are good,
There is also beautiful church in the same street from around the 11th century The Church of Saint-Séverin.
You can pretend you live Paris in this lovely Apartment. So enjoy. Go to the local food shops and experience living like a local.
Because the apartment is so easy to get to. If you get tired when you're out and about you can come home make a cup of coffee or tea, freshen up and head out again. It's wonderful like having a home away from home.
Easy to walking. Get a map and enjoy!
I was travelling by myself, but the apartment is perfect for a couple, or two people, or three that don't mind sleeping in the same room, and of course Parents with children.
If you are early risers you mightn't get much sleep as it is a lively area especially on weekends, but you can sleep in as it's very quite in the late morning. Depends on why you are in Paris?
Also easy to get to from the airport if you choose the train. ( RER B blue line from CDG to St Michel/Nôtre Dame) Easy to get anywhere in Paris on the Metro or RER. Also just around the corner is the bus stop for Paris hop on and hop off and also along the Bridge ( Pont) across from Notre Dame Cathedral. there are a four different routes that you can swap on and off.
This apartment is fantastic and value. Please look after it. Antoine has done a great job. :)
We chose to stay here based on glowing reviews from previous guests and all I can say is that they were all spot on! In fact, our expectations were far exceeded. When we dropped off our luggage on arrival the apartment was being scrubbed spotless by the cleaners. We came back to the apartment to find it in impeccable condition. The location is perfect - right above the restaurants and walking distance to Notre-Dame & the heart of the city. We had everything we needed and more including wifi, washing machine and fully-equipped kitchen. I really appreciate Antoine's fast and reliable communication. Thanks again! I have already started recommending the apartment to friends planning to visit Paris and this is definitely where we'll be staying next time we are back. Perfect for a couple.
This studio apartment was perfect for my wife and I. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed the centralized location very much.
The apartment is exactly as advertised. We had plenty of space for the two of us and all the amenities we needed (towels, bed linens, full kitchen, hairdryer, washer/dryer, etc). The wifi worked quite well and we used it to plan our day on the iPad every morning. Another plus about the wifi is you can log in at many local businesses that use the same system "Free Wifi". It was quite handy when we were at a restaurant and needed to find directions or research anywhere. The Metro is just around the corner and we used to to get almost everywhere (airport, eiffel tower, etc.). There are plenty of places nearby that are easy to walk to as well. We did not use a cab the entire trip.
The street below the apartment is lively and crowded from afternoon to late in the evening. I could see how the night club across the street could be loud to people who go to bed earlier in the evening. You cannot hear the music, but the people entering and exiting are quite loud. This did not bother us because we are night people ourselves. I would also recommend avoiding the restaurants in this section. They are tourist traps and there are restaurants just a few blocks away that are excellent!
Also, be careful on the stairs heading up to the apartment, they are narrow and not evenly spaced. It was not a problem for us most of the time, but after a few glasses of wine we needed extra caution while going up and down.
Antoine, the person who handles the booking, was helpful and quickly replied to emails.
Overall, the apartment was clean, in a perfect centralized location, comfortable, and to top everything off it was a great bargain as well!
My husband and I stayed at this very nicely furnished apartment in the Latin quarter. It is a short walk away from the Notre Dame, and is in a beautiful part of Paris. It had lots of amenities, we found very useful the coffee maker and washer/dryer combo in particular. We spent many evenings sipping wine, eating baguettes (Kayser bakery not too far away) and watching people go by outside the window. One thing to note is the hot water is only hot enough for one shower at a time, so stagger then at least an hour apart. The apartment is on the 2nd floor (1 flight of stairs), and the stairs a winding and narrow, so if you have mobility troubles it might not be the best place. At the end of our stay our view was disturbed by scaffolding around the building which we were disappointed by, especially because the shutters could not open and we could not see outside. If the scaffolding was up throughout our stay it would not have been nearly as enjoyable.
It is in an area I would classify as very touristy, and as such recommend NOT eating at any of the area restaurants, except for the gyro place (around the corner not downstairs) which students frequent. If you are a light sleeper be warned there is a nightclub across the street, while you can't hear any music, there are people talking loudly until the early hours of the morning, especially on the weekend. We quite enjoyed the noise, and hustle and bustle of the area.
The apartment is very close to the St. Michel metro line, and we had a direct line to Gare Du Nord (Eurostar) as well as the airport. Also, a direct line to the Eiffel tower and the Montparnasse station. There are a lot of cafe's nearby where we sat for an espresso, or wine and watched people go by.
Antoine was very responsive, gave us a code to enter the apartment so we could come as we pleased, and good wifi service. I would absolutely recommend this apartment for a rental to my friends or family, it is especially great for the price.
