My husband and I stayed at the suite with our 10 year old son for 4 days during President's week and loved our stay there. The apartment is gorgeous, beyond clean and ultra-equipped. Eleanor has thought of everything and provided all anticipated items. She has a fully equipped kitchen with condiments and, wait for it...a deluxe Keurig coffee machine--with several start-up k-cups. I was in coffee heaven! The furniture is beautiful and the entire apartment is tastefully decorated. We felt like native San Franciscans because the apartment is walking distance to so many historic sights and also walking distance to a mall that has a beautiful supermarket that sells everything from liquor to rib-eye steaks to ready-to-eat meals. We broiled steaks for dinner one night and had a nice night at "home". Also, we rented the parking space, which was icing on the cake. How luxurious is it to have a parking garage waiting for you when you arrive after the long drive from L.A.? Or after spending the day in Santa Cruz? My recommendation: Stay at this apartment, rent the garage and then make sure to plan a day trip down Route 1 to enjoy the breathtaking beaches and trails near San Francisco. We had an absolutely unforgettable time there. Thank you, Eleanor for your super-courteous goodies, your informative tips and for maintaining such a beautiful rental property. We plan to return!
The location of this apartment is wonderful - right near all the tourist attractions. The apartment itself was very comfortable and spotless. We had a wonderful stay and particularly enjoyed the roof deck. I highly recommend this place.
Great location - close to Safeway and a 5 minute walk to Pier 39 - this apartment was charming! Plenty of space, comfortable beds and a great kitchen - almost made us want to cook! Not that we did... So many restaurants within walking distance. Washer/dryer was very handy, loved the Xfinity WiFi and TV, lovely quiet street and great hospitality. Thanks Eleanor - we really enjoyed our stay. Every couple of year's three friends from high school and myself go somewhere to sight see and reconnect. This year we chose San Francisco. Eleanor's condo was a wonderful place for us to stay. It is well outfitted, comfortable, clean, and secure. The condo is quiet at night and it is also very convenient to major tourist sites like Fisherman's Wharf, and Ghirardelli Square. Cable cars, buses, and trolleys are only steps away for those wanting to explore more of the city.
Eleanor's recommendations for places to see and restaurants to try were excellent. You won't go wrong if you decide to stay here.
The unit was exactly as described, very clean and very well equipped . Staying in this location was perfect for our family of 4. All attractions were within walking distance with good restaurants close by as well. The rooftop deck allows for great views of the city as an added benefit. Service provided by the owner was perfect, she welcomed us upon arrival and checked in with us to ensure we had all we needed. She also offered recommendations prior to arrival related to attractions to visit and best way to do so. I would highly recommend this rental option when visiting San Francisco - much better than staying in any hotel accommodation!
We spent five nights in this condo and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The location was great and we were within walking distance to numerous points of interest, as well as grocery stores (Trader Joes and Safeway). There were three of us sharing the condo and there was more than enough space to accomodate us. The kitchen is very spacious and well stocked with cookware and utensils. In addition, Eleanor left us some welcome treats and coffee which was a nice touch. Overall, we were incredibly happy with our decision to stay here and will definitely stay here again.
This apartment was perfect for our family (2 adults and 2 children between the ages of 6 and 9). The location was awesome - between Fisherman's Warf and North Beach, so we could walk or use public transportation to get almost any where. The apartment was clean and homey. There is a rooftop deck with a view of Coit tower that was really nice and the access to laundry came in handy. The owner checked in with us regularly and even provided some good tips on both common and lesser known sights to see. There was also lemonade and some nice snacks provided on our first day which I did not expect. I would highly recommend this rental.
