Early Spring Get Away in Port Clinton

This condo was well appointed including such items as tissues in every room, toilet paper and paper towels, coffee filters, some cleaning supplies, etc. I liked it that the condo had paperback books, games, and other essential reading materials. These items are wonderful to have upon arrival as one can survive without an immediate trip to the grocery store. Instructions from our owner were clear, concise, and helpful. We got the very real sense that our owners cared about our comfort. We had access to the owners via cell phone in case we had any questions, problems, etc. We would strongly recommend this unit to any of our friends or family. It is centrally located with a view of both the Lake and the Marina. Port Clinton is considered the "Walleye Capital of the World," and we were practically sitting in the downtown boat rental area. Even off season, this unit provided us with many options which included shopping in Marblehead (quaint), sightseeing, and feasting on a wonderful seafood buffet at Mon Ami, a classy restaurant and winery replete with a 60's, 70's, and 80's band. The Cuban restaurant with the Elvis singer was open in Marblehead also. Although the weather was cold and rainy, our family enjoyed the long week-end. The men even got some fishing in despite the weather. This condo is clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. We will consider renting it in the future. The owners are first rate!
