We recently spent spring break in Abingdon. This property was AMAZING and perfect in every way! Fabulous location for bike rentals, the trail and restaurants! We spent two days biking the trail and my kids loved running around the yard in the afternoon while the adults sipped wine on the screened in porch. We walked next door for bike rentals and walked to dinner at wonderful restaurants each night! The house is spacious, clean, new and super comfortable. The owner could not be more accommodating and gracious! She was extremely helpful with maps, restaurant recommendations and other questions we had. We will definitely be back to Abingdon and will DEFINITELY be staying here!
WE were in Abingdon for a wedding and stayed at the Park Street Guest House in lieu of the Martha's Inn. It was an excellent choice. Close to everything, Plenty of room and privacy for our family. You won't be disappointed.
Our dear friend was getting married at The Martha in the middle of winter. We were blessed to find The Park St Guest house in Abington. Everything superb; response time, cleanliness, accommodations, suggestions, proximity to town, etc. You will be pleased by choosing Park St Guest House. As an owner of a vacation rental in Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California my standards are high. This exceeded my expectations. One of our guest ran the Creeper trail with snow on the ground. I guarantee you will enjoy your stay.
We had 13 guests at our house Christmas 2014, so we gave all the rooms in our home to our guests and took off (with the other set of grandparents) to the cottage for a wonderful relaxing stay. We stayed four beautiful nights and visited at our guests at our home during the day. The cottage was well-appointed, so warm and clean - peaceful. We all felt as if we were on a vacation in a luxurious setting at the base of the mountains. We are locals in the town where this cottage is located and would definitely recommend this to locals, as well as, visitors. It was a fabulous way to spend the holidays.
This property is fantastically located, beautifully appointed, and meticulously maintained. We are already planning our next trip back!
We stayed here with another couple, and all loved it! I cannot stress the cleanliness, well thought out floor plan, close proximity, comfort, and quality of the construction and amenities enough. We've rented several homes throughout the years from VRBO, and this was the best. The owner is prompt to communicate, helpful, and gives as little or as much assistance as necessary. We were snowed out from biking the Creeper trail while there, but we all 4 are already planning to come back in the Spring, and we will definitely be booking this home for our stay.
