WONDERFUL

The cottage is beautiful and perfectly laid out. The location cannot be better; bike rental next door, Main St couple of blocks away and brewery down the street. We had great weekend and look forward to coming back to Abingdon coming back to this cottage

WONDERFUL TIME AT THE GUEST HOUSE

  • 5 of 5
We could not have asked for a better place to spend time with dear friends! The house is immaculate and exceeded all our needs. Location is perfect for hiking and biking the Virginia Creeper Trail (We did both). We dined across the street and attended the Barter Theatre while in town. It was easy to communicate with owner and she offered many helpful suggestions. We can't wait to return to Abingdon and stay at the guest house again!

THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD STAY!

  • 5 of 5
I was attending an event at the Martha Washington, but wanted something bigger than a hotel room. The cottage was more affordable and offered so much more! As soon as we walked in my girlfriend could not stop saying how amazing the place was. It's great space, feels homey and not like a cheap rental. The owner has done an outstanding job providing everything you need- the kitchen is ready to cook meals, the bedrooms offered earplugs and a chocolate, even the bathtowels were beyond expectation! Not only was the cottage exceptional, but the location is prime. We walked to dinner on Main Street, walked to the Martha, walked to Wolf Hills Brewing (go try their craft beers and play cornhole!), literally steps from the Creeper Trail and bike rental. I could go on but you get the idea- this is place to be!

AMAZING COTTAGE. LOVELY&COMFORTABLE PLACE TO STAY

Amazing Cottage. Lovely&Comfortable Place to Stay
  • 5 of 5
We came to Abingdon to visit an old friend. All three of my adult children took their first walk through the cottage uttering a series of "WOWs". The decorating was beautiful and there wasn't a thing we could think of that wasn't there for us. There was plenty of space, plenty of light and the attention to detail in every room was remarkable. The location was also perfect. We enjoyed performances at the Barter Theatre, walked to dinner, shopped along the main street and had the joy of visiting with our friend in an inviting and convenient place. It was a perfect home base for enjoying all that Abington has to offer. I would recommend this lovely cottage to anyone! It was also easy to decide that this would be our first choice to stay during our next trip to Abingdon.

Owner's Response: Being a part of a joyous occasion is one of the very BEST parts of this business and I thank you most sincerely for that opportunity. I planned and decorated the Guest House as carefully as if I were staying there myself and I'm glad you and your family were comfortable during your visit. There's something to be said for space to spread out for a large-scale chat...or the privacy to steal off for a nap or read on the screened porch.
The weather has *finally* turned for the better and I hope to see you again soon.
Best regards,
Janet
