Amazing Cottage. Lovely&Comfortable Place to Stay

We came to Abingdon to visit an old friend. All three of my adult children took their first walk through the cottage uttering a series of "WOWs". The decorating was beautiful and there wasn't a thing we could think of that wasn't there for us. There was plenty of space, plenty of light and the attention to detail in every room was remarkable. The location was also perfect. We enjoyed performances at the Barter Theatre, walked to dinner, shopped along the main street and had the joy of visiting with our friend in an inviting and convenient place. It was a perfect home base for enjoying all that Abington has to offer. I would recommend this lovely cottage to anyone! It was also easy to decide that this would be our first choice to stay during our next trip to Abingdon.

Owner's Response: Being a part of a joyous occasion is one of the very BEST parts of this business and I thank you most sincerely for that opportunity. I planned and decorated the Guest House as carefully as if I were staying there myself and I'm glad you and your family were comfortable during your visit. There's something to be said for space to spread out for a large-scale chat...or the privacy to steal off for a nap or read on the screened porch.
The weather has *finally* turned for the better and I hope to see you again soon.
Best regards,
Janet

What a perfect place to stay while visiting this quaint and fun town! Just a stone's throw from downtown, creeper trail and the historic Barter Theatre. I rented this house for family to stay while they visited me from out of town. Couldn't have been more perfect. It gave them the space to spread out and for us to visit. So much better than being in separate hotel rooms perched on double beds. Clean, comfortable, well decorated. And walking distance to so many things. Perfect, thank you!!

We stayed at the guest house for a girls' getaway. What an awesome place to stay. We enjoyed our time here. The house was so cute and comfortable. It was so much fun staying between Main Street and the Creeper Trail. We enjoyed exploring Abingdon, going to Barter Theater, shopping, and eating. Thanks so much for your hospitality. I would highly recommend this place. We can't wait to come back.

We really enjoyed the house. Everything we needed was there. It's clean and comfortable. The location is perfect to walk to restaurants and shops. There is a bike shop next door and the Creeper trail is about a minute bike ride from the home. We shared the house with another couple and it's a great set-up for this. The bedrooms are similar size and both with full bathrooms. The owner is very gracious and will give you great recommendations and has a nice book with local menus and brochures in the home.

Owner's Response: What a compliment coming from hospitality pros like Dallas and Charlotte. Hope to see you again..it's a perfect "in the middle" meeting place, since no one's "in charge" and everybody gets to be a guest.
Safe travels and thanks for spending part of your fall with us.
