Nestled on the cliffs near the exclusive community of Hope Ranch and just 100 feet above the ocean, Dolphin Vista lives up to its name. The coastal views from here are not only spectacular, but daily sightings of dolphins as well as water fowl and other of natures creatures, is nearly guaranteed!
The main feature of this hillside home is the 3,000 square feet terrace that spans the entire south facing side of the home. Saltillo tile, tropical palms, comfortable patio furniture, gas barbecue, fire pit, and romantic landscape lighting add to the delightful experience of lounging on this amazing view deck. From sunrise to sunset, the ever changing views are more than memorable, they are mesmerizing.
The home was built in 2005 in classic Santa Barbara style. With white-washed stucco walls and red tile roof, the home fits perfectly into the local landscape.
The open floor plan lends itself well to entertaining that easily flows from inside, out. The wall of Nana doors that open to the ocean side terrace create a seamless experience, melding the warm and comfortable interiors with the spacious and welcoming terrace.
As in any well planned Great Room, the space is bright and open and rooms flow from one room to the next with ease. The informal Family Room area boasts a fireplace and comfortable leather sofas. For dining options, the indoor dining area is positioned in front of more Nana doors, or enjoy meals Al fresco at the dining table on the outdoor deck.
The Kitchen is well appointed with cool granite counters of sea-grass green. White washed cabinetry holds every kitchen gadget needed to prepare wonderful family meals. The Breakfast Bar allows guests to share in the experience while still staying connected to activities in the Great Room and on the terrace just outside.
The Formal Living Room offers a second stone fireplace, and romantic lighting is enhanced by the unique illuminated paper art. More ocean views through the French doors to the terrace are the finishing touch.
The Master Bedroom is romantic and serene. Throw open French doors and step outside to the hot tub and seating area located on the terrace. The Master Bathroom is spa-like with large air jet tub. A smart feature of this bathroom is the extra large marble shower with four shower heads, hand-held sprayers, and grab bars for those needing a little assistance.
Bedroom #2 offers a queen-size bed and flat screen TV. Bedroom #3 is appointed with 2 twin beds. Both rooms share the hall bathroom that features a soaking tub and walk-in shower.
When not enjoying the captivating views, the Media Room will be a comfortable place to cozy up and enjoy family movie night. A queen-size sofa sleeper adds convenience for overflow sleeping options.
A large laundry room and garage complete the features of this wonderful coastal home.
From Dolphin Vista, nearby Arroyo Burro Beach is less than a mile’s walk.
