Sunset Cottage is located in the lovely beach-side neighborhood of Bravos de Boston and a block from beautiful La Chata beach on the Atlantic! Located on a 1/2 acre compound, Sunset is part of the Bravos Beach Cottages which is made up of three rental units in two buildings, set amid tropical gardens and surrounding a swimming pool and gazebo.
Sunset Cottage is spacious and comfortable, great for two couples or a family. The Great Room is perfect for relaxing after a tough day at the beach. The completely equipped kitchen boasts stylish concrete countertops and new appliances. The covered dining patio is set in its own private garden courtyard and is a wonderful place to eat, enjoy a beverage and watch the colors of the sky change as the sun sets. Both roomy bedrooms (one King, one Queen) have ensuite baths and private patios looking out to the pool and gardens, as well as outdoor showers for a rinsing off after the beach.
Sunset can be rented individually or along with Moonrise (3022925) and Starlight (3022936) Cottages.
The indoor/outdoor living style at Sunset Cottage is perfect for lounging, cooking, chatting, playing, and entertaining!
The living room area is furnished with comfortable overstuffed furniture - perfect for watching satellite TV or using our WiFi. The recently remodeled kitchen is fully-equipped with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, blender, and even includes a full-sized washer and dryer. Both bedrooms are spacious and open onto lush poolside patios with hammocks and have newly remodeled private attached bathrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other has a King and a pull-out loveseat if extra space is needed. The living room has a pull-out single, bringing the total we can sleep to 6. The flexibility of Sunset makes it ideal for couples as well as families and friends.
The pool area for Sunset is shared between the three Cottages and is the focal point of the tropical gardens with, poolside gazebo for shelter from the sun. There are ample deck areas, seating and lounges to comfortably accommodate many people. The pool is treated by a salt system converter that creates an environment with minimal chlorine, protecting your skin, hair and swimsuit.
The gardens are a delight at Bravos Beach Cottages where you are surrounded my mature producing coconut palms, Fiji fan palms, Coco Plumosa palms, Christmas palms, Foxtail palms, prehistoric cycads, orchids naturalized in the surrounding trees, producing bananas and plantains, blooming tropical heliconias, fragrant jasmine and Lady of the Night, bougainvillea, tropical crotons and ixora, pink oleander, giant Bird of Paradise, beach naupaka, hibiscus, dracaenas, frothy ferns, many varieties of philodendron and an array of colorful bromeliads. This is a garden that will draw you in to discover the wonders.
In addition, you can customize your stay into your own compound at Bravos Beach Cottages by adding Moonrise Cottage (3022925) and/or Starlight Cottage (3022926) - just contact us if you have a larger group.
