The large living room is ideal for entertaining or getting cozy on the couch. It includes a large, flat-screen HDTV with Cable and DVD player, and has a queen-size pull-out bed allowing the unit to accommodate up to (6) adults comfortably.
The two spacious bedrooms feature high-end mattress queen-size beds and luxurious linens. The master en-suite includes a full-size dresser, large walk-in closet and beautiful high-ceiling bathroom with strong-pressure shower. The second bedroom features a large dresser, large closet and is across the hall from a full guest bathroom which includes a shower/tub combination. High-efficiency laundry is located next to this bedroom, right in the unit.
KIDS: If you are bringing the kids, please let us know. We have them. We love them. And we are happy to provide you with all that you might need to make their stay, and yours, more enjoyable (Pack-n-play, high chair, books, DVD's, toys, our favorite Babysitters!!, and great recommendations for FUN in the neighborhood & city, etc.).
THE NEIGHBORHOOD: The Flat is the lower-level of a beautiful, modern 2-unit building. It is conveniently located near the corner of 20th & Arkansas Streets in a wonderful, residential neighborhood that has a feeling of distance from the city, although the center of it all is just minutes away. On 20th St (within 1-2 blocks) you will find Thinker’s Café (coffee, breakfast, lunch), The Good Life (organic grocer), La Fleur (hair & nail salon), SF Public Library (brand new Potrero Hill branch) – great for kids!, a cleaners and more. Within 3-4 blocks there are (2) parks/playgrounds, as well as Potrero’s 18th Street shopping area, with outstanding restaurants, cafes, a few fun bars and boutiques. Whole Foods Market is right down the hill.
TRANSPORTATION & PARKING: Transportation is easy. The Flat is located less than 1 mile from all freeways (I-80, 280 and 101) and just minutes from downtown, AT&T Ball Park (Giant’s stadium), the Embarcadero and Waterfront. Using public transit, SF MUNI Lines 10, 19, 22 and the T line are all very convenient. The #10 bus stops on our block, and the #19 is 2-blocks away – both go right downtown! The #22 bus is 3-4 blocks away and can take you across town to Dolores Park, the Castro/Lower Ht, the Fillmore area/Marina and all the way to Chrissy Field and the North Bay (near Golden Gate Bridge). The T-Line-3rd St Lightrail (a 10 min walk) goes directly to AT&T Ball Park and along the Embarcadero.
PARKING:
Parking on 20th St (and all nearby blocks) is very easy with NO permits required. For guests staying 1-week or more, please inquire about possible indoor parking.
