The Best Getaway - Comfortable and Beautifully Decorated Cottage

The best cottage experience -- we absolutely loved the place, the perfect getaway! I must say that the owners were so friendly and accommodating, we couldn't have stayed at a better place. Everything we needed was provided and available (even the 'unthinkable' kitchen utensils were there i.e. pizza cutter, cheese grater, playing cards, games). Better than a 5+ star hotel; in fact, we're already talking about planning our next getaway here. The lake was beautiful, we caught so many great photos of the sunset, our many attempts to catch fish, and the fireworks.

Thank you so much for having us, inviting us over to trampoline and making our stay very comfortable and easy. We hope you'll have us back again!

Cozy winter weekend getaway

I was skeptical in the beginning about spending a precious weekend away in the middle of nowhere but that didn't last long. I was overall super impressed with the place. The house was beautiful and exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort accommodating 10+ people. Not to mention the extra towels, toiletries, bedding, and kitchen ingredients and spices that we found when we were in need of miscellaneous items...it was all there! The kitchen was pretty well equipped and it felt as if I were at a friend's place. As for activities to do, a bunch of us didn't mind spending evenings indoors cozying up next to the fireplace and in the daytime ice skate and play shinny on the lake. The grandness of the house and serene quietness of the outdoors made this place a great weekend getaway from crazy city life. I miss the house and lake already!

What an amazing stay! The house and property are absolutely stunning, in a location close to Toronto, and easily accessible. What a great place for a family reunion, gathering with friends, or retreat away from the busy city life! It is easy to plan a getaway when all the facilities needed are available, including fully furnished rooms, a great and open concept kitchen with a BBQ available outdoors, a spacious living room with comfortable couches and television, beautiful bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms including a jacuzzi and rain showers -- making it a comfortable home away from home! An added bonus is that the owner is very accommodating and personable, quick responses and are just friendly people. We would certainly want to come again, and would recommend it to those looking for a place to relax and enjoy!

Great stay!

The property is beautiful, the interior is luxurious. Lauren has done a great job of maintaining the house, and when we arrived everything was clean, as if we entered a first rate hotel. Lauren is a great landlord, and she only lives a few houses down. She was easily accessible, very sweet, and always available and willing to answer any of our questions. There is a great kitchen, with BBQ that made it very easy to make our own meals. All the bathrooms were modern and clean, even with two rain showers! Best of all, what a great location. Less than an hour from Toronto, but you get all the feel of a cottage atmosphere, but in a luxurious home, all at a very reasonable price. I would definitely come here again and show off this home!
