Showers and toilets on the boat. You'll find the boat is clean and comfortable and very conveniently located near restaurants, shopping and adventure activities. If you want an affordable stay, right on the water, with everything close by, this is for you! Included in this rental are two easy to use sit-on-top Kayaks with see through window. In minutes you can be out in the bay where you can see dolphin, rays, nurse shark, and colorful marine life.

We love visiting the Florida Keys! We like snorkeling, scuba diving, tide pool exploring, island exploring, fishing, treasure hunting, sunning, relaxing and sight-seeing.

Why Roxanne or Lee Dunn chose Islamorada

We had to think of an affordable way to visit often, so we bought this 35' Holiday Mansion houseboat. We have really enjoyed having our family and friends come out and stay with us. Everyone who has stayed has loved the boat and being right on the water parked in the safety and convenience of the marina. We have used Homeaway and VRBO for our vacation rentals in Montana, where we live and thought why not try the houseboat too!

What makes this house boat unique

So, we are offering our houseboat to vacationers just like us, who want a nice clean place - right on the water - with all the comforts of home without a huge price tag. After all, there are so many fun things to see and do in the Keys, why be saddled to an expensive hotel room, when there is so much more to experience! We have enlisted the help of the great staff at the marina to help us with maintenance, cleaning and visitor orientation. They want as much as we do to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable. Just got back from a 5 day stay on the houseboat with my parnter and we loved it! Boat was as described, very clean and well appointed. Fridge was good for what we needed and there were two large ice chests on deck had we needed extra. Nice having the security of a gated marina. The marina was quite during our stay and the few people we met were nice. It might be busier if not for the holiday. AC was good and beds were very comfortable. Flat screen TV was nice for watching DVDs at night.

Only small issues were that the second bedroom had very low ceilings, making it basically a sleeping compartment. Was fine for us. Also, showere were a bit of an adventure as the water temp and pressure varied wildly during a shower. However, we are used to camping and staying in an RV so this was not a problem for us either.

The area is perfect - lots of shopping and places to eat. Kayaks provided were a real plus for us as we spent several afternoons kayaking. Overall, this was a clean, comfortable place for us to stay during our visit to the Keys and we really enjoyed the ability to stay on the water. The upper deck was a great place to have drinks and watch the sunset. We would stay again!

Unforgettable Experience!

I spent a week on the houseboat for Thanksgiving a couple years ago and I will never forget it! I preferred staying in the houseboat compared to the hotel because I felt more at home and relaxed. I had the true Florida Keys experience. Al
so because the ocean was literally right outside my window! I really enjoyed just sitting on the deck in the morning and watching the fish swim by underneath the boat and listening to the birds overhead. You can’t do that in a hotel! There are so many fun and interesting things to do and everything was very close. You can go snorkeling, swimming, canoeing, or even just walk on the beach! I also loved how I could experience the culture of the Keys. The local restaurants are amazing and have great food. If you want to have an unforgettable family vacation or even just a relaxing getaway for two, staying at the Houseboat in the Keys is the way to go! Don’t forget souvenirs!
