Our stay at the Pine Ridge Resort

Our stay at the Pine Ridge Resort was fantastic. The pictures on this website do not do this vacation property justice. The caretaker/owner of the resort was excellent, and all accomodations were provided to us. The quiet setting of the cabins on the lake, far from from the noises of city life and traffic made for a very relaxing stay. The cabin we stayed in was cozy with cable television and a dvd player. The kitchen had everything one would need to cook 3 meals a day for the entire family. The fire pit area with wood chairs provided was also a hit, as our family enjoyed roasting marshmellows every night. The cabin came equipped with a dock for our boat, a pontoon style swim raft, a row boat, and a paddle boat. Life jackets and swim floatation devices were also provided. The lake was one of the quietest lakes I have ever been to that allows boats with motors. I don't recall seeing another boat on the lake during our entire stay, and the boat launch is conveniently located directly across the lake which takes less then 5 minutes to reach the resort docks, and probably 1 mile down the road from the resort driveway.
The swingset on the property also provided something for the kids to do, while the adults were sitting around the fire or BBQing. This property is away from it all, while still only 20 minutes from downtown Traverse City. Parking was also not a problem at all as we had our vehicle, boat and trailer, and still had alot of room for our guests that came to visit.
All in all, one of the best lakeside cabin resorts we have every stayed at, and we can't wait to come back. I wish the place was available in the winter, as we would enjoy staying here to snowmobile and go icefishing.
Check it out, you won't regret it!
