Exceptional lakefront home, private setting, stone fireplace, sunroom, lake views, antiques and cozy cabin furniture. Features a private dock with 150 feet of private lake frontage on beautiful Long Lake in Benzie County. Ideally situated in the heart of some of the most beautiful country in northern Michigan. Property is bordered by Sleeping Bear Dune with trails in walking distance to Lake Michigan and lake frontage on the other. Conveniently located minutes away from Lake Michigan, Crystal Lake, Glen Arbor and Platte Lakes. Only 25 minutes from Traverse City. A separate 12 by 20 ft. guest cottage with a private bath and kitchenette is also available for rental as a supplement to the home rental (cottage only rented with home rental); the cottage will accommodate two additional guests. This is a no smoking/no pets property.

Property is close to Frankfort MI on a very private all sports lake, close to many activities, canoe on the Platte River, take a scenic drive on M-22 along the Lake MI shoreline through many quaint towns. Sleeping Bear Dunes Park is across the road, you can hike from our home through the park to Lake Michigan beach for a dip in the lake or a picnic on the beach. Great restaurants are close by, you can walk to the famous Manitou for the best Northern MI cuisine in the area.

Sleeping accommodations for two people are available using a pullout queen sofa bed. All bed linens are supplied upon request. Fully equipped custom kitchen - Refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. Includes pots, pans, dishes, glasses, cups, and tableware. Satellite TV, DVD, VCR, telephone, washer/dryer, rowboat, charcoal grill. BR B Activities: /B BR We are minutes away from a multitude of activities such as canoeing on the Platte and Betsie rivers to shopping at many of the quaint towns on Lake Michigan. A wide range of eateries from casual to fine dining is available.

Activities: Swimming, Boating, Water Sports, Sport Fishing, Golfing at several area courses, Hiking and Sightseeing. Winter activities include skiing at area resorts.

We loved the access to the park across the road! Hiking, biking access. Super restaurant close by, the manitou.
