Three story, contemporary home built on a private, wooded hillside located within the Shanty Creek Resort; minutes from either The Summit or Schuss Mtn or Cedar River Ski Villages. The home has four bedrooms and three baths easily accommodating 7-9 people. The separate levels make this the perfect lodging for two families. Lower level has a private entrance to a master bedroom suite with queen-sized bed, bath and shower and a 2-person Jacuzzi tub. The open floor plan on the main level has a living area w/ fireplace,kitchen snack bar and dining area creating a warm and comfortable space for gathering. Sliders open onto the second level deck to enjoy the outdoors. A bedroom with a double bed and bath are also part of the main floor. The third floor has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with bunk beds as well as a full bath and sitting area. House is equipped with all necessities for a relaxing vacation including Bellaire Beach Club and pool access for our guests.

Home has three levels with a bath on each making it the perfect vacation home for two families or two or three couples. This home has all the comforts of your own home. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a gas grill on the deck for barbequeing. Linens and towels are provided as well as all kitchen/laundry and bath soaps. There is a washer/dryer for your convenience. Cable TV and DVD on the main floor and the lower level. Enjoy all the amenities the resort has to offer including five championship golf courses, access to private beach club on Lake Bellaire which connects to the chain of lakes and beautiful Torch Lake by boat. There are many restaurants, two indoor and three outdoor pools, full service spa and fitness center, tennis and kids programs all within the resort. The local area offers fishing, hiking, Grass River nature trails, canoeing, casino and shopping in Charlevoix, Traverse City or Petoskey. Groceries and video rentals in Bellaire only 10 minutes to town.

The resort offers fun for everyone. Summer Beach Club on Lake Bellaire and all resort amenities at Shanty Creek lodge and Schuss Village swimming, 4 resort golf courses and 2 others within a few miles of the resort, tennis, fishing and boat rentals on the chain of lakes. In the winter season there is an ice skating lake, tubing hill, indoor and outdoor pools (small daily fee required), restaurants, shopping, day care and kids programs are available. A ski shuttle runs between The Summit and Schuss Ski Villages. Activities: Great shopping and restaurants in Bellaire, Charlevoix and Traverse City as well as Turtle Creek Casino. There are many places to rent equipment for kayaking, waverunners, downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling and horseback riding. The resort also have special events almost every weekend.

Great Vacation Home

We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Each level provides lots of privacy for a perfect couples or multi-family get-away. Well-equipped in everything, and the setting is wonderful. Your choice of indoor and outdoor pools are just a short drive away, and the private beach club on Lake Bellaire is especially nice for younger children, with it's shallow sandy-bottomed lake. The owners are great to work with also, and very accommodating. We hope to return next year!

Really Large home for up to two families

We enjoyed our stay and also the privacy we got from this large 4 bedroom house.
The main bedroom is on the lower level with a jacuzzi tub and its own deck which was nice to get away. There is one bedroom on the main level and two upstairs. The main level also has a large wrapping deck that is great to hang out on a quite evening and watch the animals.
The neighborhood was very quite also.The home was full of everything we needed! We really had a good time and would recommend it to others.
The only thing is, it does not have a yard to play in for small kids since it's built into a hill, but that wasn't an issue for us.
A really nice feature is the private beach and club house that they have on lake Bellaire. Very Nice beach and wonderful to swim in.

All around nice home and a pleasant time working with the owners.
If we had question they had the answers, and were very friendly.
