thoroughly enjoyable stay

2 of my girlfriends and I stayed at Horseshoe Bend last weekend, and didn't want to come home! The cabin was everything we needed and more. Donnie was very helpful and available if we needed him. The internet was not working while we were there, but it was no issue as we were out enjoying the beautiful sites, or simply relaxing at the cabin. The driveway was pretty steep and narrow, but we managed it fine in a minivan, and over the weekend, it became somewhat fun to drive. :) The new deck and hot tub were amazing, and our dogs enjoyed our stay just as much as we did. The cabin was clean, and there is a local grocery store nearby to get groceries. We highly recommend day-tripping to nearby Sylva for eating out (City Lights cafe is amazing), as well as Bryson City for shopping. Both of these towns have local microbreweries (Heinzelmannchen in Sylva, and Nantahala Brewing in Bryson City) if you enjoy a good craft beer as we do. :) The local people are friendly and helpful and you will feel at home immediately. This cabin is just gorgeous and is perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing, secluded, centrally-located home base for adventures in western NC.
