BR B Area: /B BR My home is located in a small harbor community called Shelter Bay, it's the only natural harbor on the south shore of lake superior, the largest inland body of fresh water in the world, we also overlook 110 acre AuTrain Island.
There are no commercial businesses in Shelter Bay, except charter fishing. We have 90 foot deep deer lake within walking distance, with public boat launch and sandy beach. Just 30 mins. to the east we have Pictured Rocks state park with 35 miles of shoreline preserved just as it's always been. Just 30 mins to the west we have Marquette with all the activities common to collage towns, like our traditional outdoor music festival, art on the rocks, concerts, movies, restaurants and shopping.
