Hi! This is Todd and Marnie Tashiro. We grew up in the mountains and miss it everyday that we are not there. Bass Lake has been a big part of our lives. Our parents still live here right on the water front, and we enjoy it year round with family and friends.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2002
This is where we are from and our hearts will always belong to Bass Lake and the mountains. Our parents still live hear year around in the home I grew up in. So many of us always come to visit and occasionally we run out of room. We thought what better place to buy, this gives us room for overflow with the family while giving us an investment we can enjoy fully.
BASS LAKE CANNOT BE BEAT FOR FUN, FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!
This was definitely a warm welcoming cabin with every necessity items of your everyday living. The front porch was a definite great spot to hang out, with a short walk to the village. The owners are definitely a phone call away if needed and so prompt in answering your questions. We will definitely recommend highly for your family!!
After camping in Yosemite for 3 days, this cabin was a much welcomed site for me and my family. It was exactly as advertised with working Wi-Fi, working BBQ, linens, and the kitchen essentials. The owners are so nice and are excellent in communication with you to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The location is so close to the Pines area and the lake, you feel guilty driving anywhere! We will be back to this cabin for sure.
Cabin was just as advertised, short walking distance to stores and restaurants! Owners were very prompt about answering any questions! Felt like they really cared and wanted to make sure you enjoyed your stay. Cabin was clean and well stock. The only slight issue we had was the BBQ didn't seem to get very hot, other than that everything was perfect! Would DEFINATLY recommend to others and plan on staying their again!!
Again had a great time at this very affordable, clean cabin. Owners are very accomadating and quick to respond if something is not right. All was perfect while we were there. Cabin is close to everything in town and the walk is 5 min. A very nice place to stay.
This cabin is very much as described -clean and conveniently located near the Pines Resort. The price is also right. The owners, Todd and Marnie, are super responsive and kind. The place has plenty of room. We were only 2 people, but 4 or 6 would be comfortable.
The one negative comes from the strange fact that the entire Pines community is constructed such that, unless you have a lakeside cabin or a view from Ducey’s Resort, you cannot see even a sliver of the lake until you are down at the water’s edge. And there is no forest or woodsy view to compensate for the missing lake. It was difficult for us to enjoy the large porch with barbecue grill or the quiet street without something nice to look at.
Other than that, this is a pleasant, economical way to stay at Bass Lake, with a sandy beach and all the water sports, restaurants and bars just moments away.
