We have always loved the Adirondacks and feel blessed that we found this little piece of paradise. We have 4 married children and 14 grandchildren. The 'Lodge' is a perfect gathering place for the children and the 'Chalet' is a perfect 'get away' for Gigi and Papa. It is our pleasure to share our home with friends from HomeAway.

Why Owner/Manager chose Bolton Landing
After years of looking, we found Alderbrook Lodge. It is totally unique and offered us the space that we needed for both family and friends. It is rare to find a private,100 acre property, that is so close to Lake George, yet totally private. The lake is beautiful and the frosting on the cake!
What makes this lodge unique
We have made every effort to make our family and friends comfortable from the minute they walk through the door. The furniture is comfortable and the rooms are nicely decorated, but geared for children and large family gatherings. Alderbrook Lodge is the perfect place for a family reunion.
Guestbook comments from the owner
We were there last weekend!! We were a family of 7. Until now, my children and my friends are still talking about going back. My 3 girls thought that it would be nice to stay there forever! They had their first kayaking and boating experience there and they LOVED it! We had total privacy and so much freedom to do anything we want to do with the water, in and out of the house. My husband and his friends (husbands of my female friends ) went biking around the area. We didn't even have to go elsewhere to have fun because it was already so much fun being in Alderbrook Lodge. We liked the fact that we had the water and the boats to ourselves and we didn't have to worry about paying it by the hour. The bonfires and our night swims were something we haven't done in other places we've stayed in our previous vacations. Being able to commune with nature was such a relief from the stressful life we have in the city. The calmness of the water and the woods with all its different natural sounds were so contagious. We honestly didn't want to go home. The long drive from Virginia was worth it! Lynn and Ed were such gracious owners. Thank you!! again so much for sharing your property with us and contributing to another unforgettable weekend getaway. -- Jun & Jovieh (from Alexandria, VA)
