Oceanfront 6 bedroom 4.5 bath home in Carova available.This house is steps to ocean perched atop a 27 foot dune (last count dune keeps growing!) Wild ponies abound as do deer. Watch the dolphins frolic from the gazebo! This is a remote area that can be accessed only with a 4 Wheel Drive vehicle. (Info on area)

reverse floorplan with the main living levels on the top floor. 2

King master bedrooms., 1 queen master, 1 queen bedroom, 2 bunkrooms, crib available. Fully equipped kitchen. Living areas on

every level. DSL internet. Apple TV. Dogs are welcome and allowed on the beach. Please note that slipcovers on sofas may be different color than on picture! We alternate in order to clean them.

We built this place in 2001. It is a place to get away from it all. Carova Beach does not offer the conveniences of the main road, but it offers the solitude and peacefulness you will never find there. You won't be able to order take-out but why would you? This is a place to get away from it all. It is a bit wilderness but with many luxuries provided by nature.

Beautiful week at the beach!

Me and my family came here for a week in September right before the kids started school again and it was wonderful! The house is very spacious and I love that the big gathering space is all on one floor so everyone is constantly together! You are literally two steps from the beach which is beautiful and if you want to avoid the sand you can go in the pool or jacuzzi in the back yard. The house has tons of light and is very airy and refreshing! Our dog was allowed to come which was great for him and the kids like that too. The kitchen supplies were fully stocked, even more so than I have at home, but make sure you try and do grocery shopping on your way in to the beach house because the grocery store isn't super close! Definitely going to stay here for all of our future beach vacations!

Dream Vacation

My dream vacation was in this home on the beach. Peace and quiet, walking the beach, watching the horses, watching the sunrise each morning, dolphins putting on a show everyday and fishing. This is the life if only for a week. My son is recovering from surgery because of kidney cancer and we wanted a very restful place for him to recoup from the pressures of his illness. Well, now he wants to live on Carova Beach, what to do, what to do.
We sincerely thank the owners for sharing their home with us. The description and the pictures are right on, the owners are wonderful and helpful, and we
loved their home.
We have shared our experience with friends and they too want to enjoy this home on the beach in Carova, NC.

Heaven in North Carolina

We had stayed at this house a few times over the years and always loved it. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw the owners opened it up to renters again! The house is beautifully decorated! You can tell love was put into it. The kitchen is equipped even better than we remembered...any gourmet cook would be happy here. The views from the house and decks though are what is awe striking. The sky reveals the twinkling stars and planets in all their splendor without the lights of a city to dim them. The endless view of the ocean is mesmerizing. The dolphins were seen everyday. The ponies also visited every single day. Especially a family of three with a young colt. If you enjoy air shows, the naval base in nearby Virginia provides an airshow almost everyday, jets flying in formation over the ocean became commonplace. There is internet and television available, but why anyone would waste their time inside when such glory is outside baffles the mind. This place is magical. If you are blessed enough to snag a week...you will never regret it.

This was our 1st time staying in Carova and after staying in this house for a week, this will now be the place we do our vacationing. We had a great time staying in this house and besides the house being great, we loved the area. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was such a good experience seeing the horses around the area and watching the dolphins daily from the house, the decks or on the beach. It was so nice being able to walk out the door and onto the beach. The swimming pool was great also. The owners were very nice and helpful with the entire rental process and it shows that they care about their house as well as their renters. We certainily plan to continue to rent here for many years to come.
