Spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath condo with artist loft is available for 1-2 week rentals. Fantastic location in the SOMA district is central to all things hip in San Francisco; a 5-10 minute walk to fine dining, exciting night life, art galleries and renowned SF culture. A short bus or trolley ride gets you to Golden Gate Park and the Japanese Tea Garden, The Exploratorium, Chinatown, and Fisherman's Wharf; nothing in San Francisco is very far.
And should 'The City' prove too inspiring for your inner artist, my working studio is perfect for writing poetry, drawing a picture, painting a masterpiece, or just quietly contemplating the truer meanings of life.
For reference, this property is located approximately at Van Ness & Mission with a 94103 Zip code.
It is well within the heartbeat of the city so do be willing to embrace city lights and city sounds. If cool local flavor is more your style, and not so much the tourist thing, then this is the space for you.
Please note: 1)there is no on site parking available, 2)this condominium is not suitable for children.

As a Fine Artist and practitioner of Zen Aesthetic, San Francisco is where I go to both create and be a part of creativity. Its picturesque cityscape, vibrant energy and cosmopolitan character make it one of the most beautiful and stimulating destinations in the world.
The Owner purchased this condo in 2007
This condo is exactly as depicted in pictures and description. Original artwork makes for beautiful and unique accommodations. If you need to be near the Civic Center, this location makes absolute sense. BART and buses are within walking distance for access to other areas of the city. If you are a "city dweller" you will find the streets and surrounding area to be fine; adjacent streets vary in that some are very industrial looking in nature and the area has a huge number of homeless people living on the street. It did not feel particularly unsafe, but might be disconcerting if you are not familiar with city living. Two caveats regarding the rental: there is no coffeemaker and the only TV is located in the master bedroom and although it turns on, we were unable to tune in any local stations at all. The unit is on 3 floors (although you will probably not need to use the 3rd floor loft area) but it does entail some running up/down from bedrooms to living/kitchen floor. Having said that, the condo is perfectly appointed with lovely decorating, extremely clean/modern unit, and within a quiet building.
I was impressed to find everything just as Peter said it would be. The loft was very comfortable, convenient to shop and get transportation anywhere in the city. The kitchen was great, although we didn't use it too much as there are some many fabulous places to eat in SF. The beds were comfy. Thank you Peter for sharing your home with us. We'll be back !!
One of the highlight of our week's stay in San Francisco was the return to our Zen loft at the end of each day.
From the beautiful living / dining room, the well equipped kitchen where we whipped up fabulous dinners from our forays at Rainbow Foods, to the most comfortable beds.
The balcony to sit and sip our morning espresso while watching the city wake up to the end of day to catch the last rays of the sun and enjoy our glass of wine.
The description and photos do not convey the beauty of the light filtering in from the large windows.
The loft was very clean and well- maintained and so convenient to all amenities.
A place to return.
We have stayed in rental apartments all over the United States and Europe, and this was the best one we've ever stayed in. The photos honestly do not do it justice. There are two bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs, with an en suite master bath, and upstairs there is a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, living area, and upper loft. Everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and extremely nice. The beds were SO comfortable!
It is a great place to work (internet worked very well, although it was a tad slow when the neighbors came home!) and the area is very convenient to the bus. Many great restaurants around, and it's easy to find and completely comfortable to stay in.
Stayed in San Francisco for a 4-day conference and the condo was perfect! Easy to access, convenient location, and large size made this a great alternative to a hotel. Condo was exactly as advertised. With convenient access to public transportation, I would recommend it those who want an easy way to explore the city.
Our family stayed in this beautiful, artsy, well-maintained apartment in San Francisco for approimately 1 week. In addition to enjoying the aprtment itself, the location was perfect. We did not have a car and could easily walk to many great restaurants and areas of interest or take public transportation from the numerous stops nearby. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and we would certainly stay here again if and when we are lucky enough to get back to San Francisco!
