Photos and Description of the Au Train vacation cabin rental
Beautiful 2BR/1BA Cabins

Cabin is 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and a full bath, complete kitchen with all the appliances, microwave, stove fridge, pots and pans and includes all the linens and towels. Everything you need. The cabin is very clean and cozy. There is a picnic table and outdoor BBQ grill; we have a covered porch and access to the lake. Summer time we have a 48 foot dock, canoe and non-motorized fishing boat comes with the cabin. The snowmobile trail is directly off our driveway, onto a snow-covered seasonal road 1 mile from the groomed trail. No automobile traffic to fight.

Activities: : We now have openings for the Season-- Don't wait to book your cabin! Book early for the best dates they are going fast! Canoe trips from AuTrain River to Lake Superior. Glass Bottom boat tours of shipwrecks on Lake Superior Pictured Rocks National lakeshore tours. Great Fishing on Lake AuTrain or Lake Superior. Hunt from the doorstep right into the Hiawatha National Forest. Average snowfall 240 inches a year, snowmobilers and skiers paradise! Largest Beach in the U.P. at Lake Superior where AuTrain River flows into Lake Superior. Volleyball nets there also. Downhill Ski at Marquete Mountain approx. 30-minute drive.

  • With 2 cabins now open we have lots to offer. Cabin 1 is a 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and twin beds and have full baths, complete kitchens with all the appliances, microwave, stove fridge, pots and pans and include all the linens and towels. Everything you need. Our 2nd cabin is our bunkhouse and is newly remodeled in 2004. It offers the same amenities as cabins 1 but only has one bedroom with bunks (as pictured.) The fellas really like it and families enjoy the bunkhouse experience as well. All cabins are very clean and cozy. They have picnic tables and outdoor BBQ grills; we have covered porches and access to the lake. Summer time we have a 48 foot dock, canoe and non-motorized fishing boat comes with the cabins. The snowmobile trail is directly off our driveway, onto a snow-covered seasonal road 1 mile from the groomed trail. No automobile traffic to fight.

What a great place to stay! In our 1 bedroom cabin, there were local crafts for sale - walking sticks, baskets and even some t-shirts. The view out the kitchen window looked out at beautiful AuTrain Lake. The bed was comfy. Slept well! The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Overall the cabin was clean, but I did a once-over of the kitchen with some disinfecting wipes as some of the nooks and crannies looked like they could use it. I would recommend this place.

Lots of waterfalls in the area.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

My sister and I stayed at Four Seasons Cabins for 2 nights in early June 2009. After reviewing many listings this appeared to be the best value.

These cabins are immaculate, well kept and fully stocked. If/when I venture back to the U.P. this is my destination choice. You won't be disappointed.

The cabins are located minutes away from scenic, white sandy beaches and partks with a short ride to larger cities for supplies.

We enjoyed our time there and enjoyed meeting Angela. Andrea, Best of luck with your upcoming Summer season.

This little lovely cabin was a place we called "home" during our stay there...it was clean and well maintained...the owners were great...calling or stopping in to make sure we had everything we needed...It was especially nice not to have to furnish our own lines as we traveled from so far...Brownstone Restaurant is the place to eat but it was also graet cooking our own meals...The lake smelled a bit fishy so I don't know about swimming in it but did use the row boat that came with the cabin...Nice place...would diffently return if ever back in that area.

Very clean updated cabin centrally located among many sighteeing oportunities. Great fishing in the lake across the street.
