Cozy and comfortable cottage on lake resort. The lake property has a beach with a sandy bottom, two rafts and buoys, four 30-ft docks, an extensive children's playground, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, barbecue grills and fire pits. For boating and fishing, the resort features a large boat house with private locked lockers, a screened fish-cleaning house with running water and a boat launch. The use of a 14-foot aluminum boat is included with cottage rental. Additional boat and motor rentals are available. Small pets are allowed. The resort is not handicap accessible.

On Arbutus Lake, 6 1/2 miles from Traverse City and the Bay. Shopping, casino 10 miles, Mackinaw Island 140 miles, short drive to Lake Michigan. Lots of golf courses in the area. Good fishing Lake. Arbutus Lake is 5 lakes. # 1 and #5 are no wake lakes while the larger lakes 2,3,and 4 are just right for boating.

Activities:: The resort and cottage are secluded and quiet, the property is wooded and on Arbutus Lake. Water recreation includes swimming, trophy fishing, boating and water-skiing. Nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling and horseback riding. Arbutus Lake covers approximately 500 acres and has a maximum water depth of 45 feet. It is part of a 5-lake chain. Fish include bluegill, perch, northern pike, large mouth and small mouth bass.

We are 6 1/2 miles south of Traverse City for shopping and the Bay. Also not far from the casino, Turtle Creek.
