Villa Verde is a family friendly home in a quiet wooded neighborhood, Harbor Dunes. This relaxing getaway is located just one mile south of the heart of downtown New Buffalo. It offers a quiet, relaxing vacation, while still being close to lovely shops, fine dining options and the beaches.

Villa Verde was built in 2005 with many luxurious features such as the modern gourmet kitchen, to the spa-like master bath and the stone patio and fire pit. On the outside, the home is surrounded by towering trees and is very secluded from the hustle and bustle.

Upon entering the home, the sunroom and dining room share the enclosed front porch. In the sunroom, there are many games stocked for the family to enjoy, while the dining room offers seating for up to ten people to enjoy family time. Upon entering the main living area, the kitchen and family room come together with lofty vaulted ceilings that open up to the upstairs living quarters. There are two bedrooms on the main floor. One bedroom includes a queen bed, while the other has a full bunk bed with a twin trundle. In between the two bedrooms there is a full bathroom. Outside of the kitchen is the screened-in porch, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Just off of the screened-in porch is the stone patio, which has a nice patio set next to fire pit, where you can enjoy a fire on the cool evenings.

Upstairs is the master suite, which has a king sized bed. Off of the master bedroom is a balcony, which is another great location to enjoy a cup of morning coffee. In the master suite is the master bath, complete with his and her sinks, shower and a whirlpool tub. Down the hall from the master suite is the loft. The loft includes a pull out mattress and with the push of a button inflates into a comfortable queen bed. In the loft is a secretary and book shelf. In there is a printer and phone for your use. There is Wi-Fi throughout the house.

Just a short walk from the house is the neighborhood pool, which is heated. There is a nice clubhouse with covered seating and bathrooms. The pool is shared by a small number of homes.

We have a sailboat in New Buffalo and have been coming over on the weekends in the summer for several years. We feel in love with New Buffalo and wanted to spend more time there. It is a great family destination and our two girls like to the area.

What makes this house unique

The house in located in the back of Harbor Dunes (about a mile south of New Buffalo) in a quiet, wooded area. It is secluded and peaceful, yet close enough to New Buffalo for the activities. The patio at the house is a great place to unwind at the end of the day with a fire in the beautiful fire pit and enjoy s’mores.
