This is a stunning home! From the moment you walk in the door, you realize that you have arrived at a very special place where everything you see is pleasing to the eye and the touch. The care and attention to detail in the coordination of colors, furnishings and tasteful decor, make you feel that you could just move in and never leave.
Upon your arrival you will be greeted by complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a bottle of sparkling cider or wine, passes from the renowned Spa on the Plaza in downtown Monterey, that recently has undergone a $2 million renovation, Scheid Wine tasting-room passes, two free single-use Aquarium tickets and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is at your disposal to assist you during your stay.
We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, plush spa bathrobes, slippers and over-sized towels. Everything you need for a day at the beach is provided, including beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, blankets and colorful beach towels.
The great room has a beautiful fireplace as the focal point with comfortable seating for quiet conversations or gathering everyone together. The cook does not need to be left out as the open chef's dream kitchen is within earshot and the granite top island is an invitation to your friends and family to sit down and visit.
The Master Bedroom is spacious with a Cal King Bed adorned with beautiful linens and the master bathroom with a separate shower and bath tub has been remodeled and provides a spa experience after a day at the beach or sightseeing.
A second bedroom has a queen bed and additional sleeping in the den provides a sleeper sofa with memory foam topper for a comfortable nights' rest or another room to get away to read and relax. All beds are appointed with luxury linens.
The back yard with a gas grill, comfortable outdoor patio furniture and landscaping allows for outside entertaining.
This home is located in a quiet neighborhood called Del Rey Oaks with a park nearby and tennis courts. Just 10 minutes to the beach, Laguna Seca and Downtown Monterey. Carmel, Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove are all within 15 minutes.
Additional Rate Details and Rental Terms.....
* Non-refundable cleaning fees are quoted separately from rent depending on number of guests. $200 for up to 4 guests, $250 for 5-6 guests, and $300 for 7-8 guests, including infants and children.
* Stays of 30 days or more require mid-stay cleanings every two weeks that you will be responsible for scheduling with our Vacation House Manager assigned to the rental and paying cleaners for directly at the time each cleaning is performed at the rate of $25/hour. This is over and above the cleaning fee itemized in your contract.
* Rates are based on up to 6 guests, including infants and children. ADD $25/NIGHT PER PERSON FOR 7 OR 8 GUESTS INCLUDING CHILDREN.
* Accidental Loss and Damage Waiver Fee $75 instead of security deposit (covers up to $2,000 unintentional damage to house or its contents but does not cover negligent abuse or neglect)
* Credit Card number must be on file for security against any damages should damage be due to abuse or neglect and are not accidental in nature. Guest would be responsible for any uncovered damages.
* Cancellation Policy: If you cancel 60 days or less before your arrival date, you are eligible for a full refund only if we can re-rent the property for the same dates and rental rate less the $150 administration fee and any bank or PayPal fees incurred by the owner. If you cancel 60 days or more before your arrival date, you are eligible for a full refund of the rental amount less the $150 administration fee and any bank or PayPal fees incurred by owner. * PG&E gas and electricity are paid by guest for rentals of 30 days or more.
* Full payment is due at time of booking if booked less than 60 days prior to arrival date.
* If booked more than 60 days in advance of arrival date, 50% of total amount is due to secure reservation with balance of total due 60 days prior to arrival date.
* Access information and directions will be provided once payment is made in full and credit card is on file for security against damages.
* 2 night rentals are subject to owner's approval.
