Freshly renovated, this 3 bedroom house-with sofa bed , in Little Italy is part of the Posh Digs family. We call it Posh On The Park.
This was actually our first home. We recently redid everything practically. New floors, kitchen and bathrooms.
Open concept with 11 foot ceilings, hardwood floors throughout, and skylights make it a bright modern home. The cupboards are filled with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, mugs and everything else you need to prepare a meal. As well there's fresh towels and beddings provided for your stay too. The flat screen TV , free cable, phone for local calls, and free wifi are also included for your personal use. Complete with stainless steel appliances the house has everything you need including 2 full bathrooms. Gas Webber BBQ can be found in cozy back deck area.
The neighbourhood is family friendly with parks right next door, cafes and restaurants within walking distance and friendly neighbours. We also live in the neighbourhood so we are close by to answer any questions or point you in the right direction.
The house is right in the middle of Little Italy. Everything is within walking distance including Sam James Coffee House, Starbucks, coin laundry, grocery store, pharmacy, liquor store and public transit.
Hopefully you're not on a diet because the restaurant choices are varied and hard to resist. Everything from 5 star to local legends are close by for your dining pleasure. Choose from veal sandwiches that are bigger than your head to locally grown ingredients prepared and plated by some of Toronto's finest culinary artisans. The folks that make the veal sandwiches are artists as well, just a different kind of art.
Some of Toronto's greatest neighbourhoods are also nearby including Little Korea, Chinatown, The Annex, Trinity Bellwoods and Little Portugal. From here you can easily get to the Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and of course the CN Tower.
It's all about neighbourhood living here when you stay at Posh On The Park. You're still downtown and close to everything but you're not surrounded by glass and steel towers. Instead your surrounded by parks, treelined streets and friendly faces you'll come to recognize after a few walks around the block.
If our calendar appears booked during the dates you'd like for this suite, we do have others you can enquire about on Homeaway 940811, 940812, 940816, 3015218, 3021303, 219340
This includes other short-term rentals in the neighbourhood, not just at Posh On The Park. So please send us an enquiry and hopefully we can find something for you, even if it isn't this particular house.
Looking forward to your inquiry!
As soon as we came in, it really feels like home. The house was clean and smelled fresh. Very spacious with high ceiling.
Everything from kitchen appliances, wifi, cable, laundry were working great. Enough kitchenware to cook supper for family. Extra linens are provided for your convenience.
The location can't be more perfect. It is in a residential area with mature trees. Great friendly neighbourhood.
Only 1 block away south to have great Italian food in little italy, 1 block away north to have Korean food in little korea and quick 10 mins walk to the nearest subway station which can take you anywhere you want to go.
The owner was very accommodating and helpful. Check out was supposed to be at 11am but they let us stay until 2pm at no extra cost.
We really enjoyed our stay and really appreciate the accommodation. Will definitely recommend this property to whoever visiting the city
The house is quite comfortably furnished, with a generous complement of linens, dishes, kitchen equipment etc. Everything was spotless on our arrival. The beds are good quality and there are plenty of pillows, blankets etc. WiFi worked 24/7 the whole time we were there with good speed. The owner was courteous and helpful and in no way intrusive, the household rules are sensible and straightforward and not onerous. Laundry and all appliances work without a hitch. Water pressure is good. There are two bedrooms upstairs with their own bathroom, and one in the basement, with its own bathroom. There's an outside patio that they describe as "cozy" - which can mean tiny - but it's actually quite a comfortable size and given the density of the neighbourhood quite private. The photos of the property, provided on their website, are entirely accurate.
The neighbourhood is residential but within a 20 minute walk are dozens of restaurants in every price range and for every taste, as well as all the usual shops you might need (owner provides a map). The subway is a 10 minute walk and a bus connecting to the subway also goes right past the door. Street parking was never an issue (but do buy a parking permit at the link provided by the owner).
It's clean, spacious, and restful. I was in town to deal with a very stressful family emergency and being able to stay here instead of at a generic hotel was a real blessing. Thank you!
The house is close to most of Toronto's greatest attractions like the CN tower, Royal Ontario Museum and Art Gallery of Ontario. A short ride on the TTC and you can get to most of the city's most popular destinations. Walk to Chinatown, Little Korea, and the Annex.
